Buffy slips into depression after Spike's sacrifice, the fact he was back and never told her just pushes her even more over the edge. When Spike realizes the mistake he made by staying away, he's willing to do whatever he can to save her.

Takes place in a much nicer season 6, Buffy and Spike have a relationship that is accepted by all of her friends. But just when things are finally going their way, tragedy strikes.

Another spell goes wrong when Willow tries to make Buffy forget the time she was engaged to Spike, instead bringing back a memory that she was never supposed to have.

Buffy manages to choose a poem written by William for a class assignment, which leads to Spike finally confessing his feelings to her.

Disclaimer: Well, I decided to take up on a Season 6 time period. So, Season 6 of BtVS SPOILER ALERT! The stories have hints of sexual activities but nothing more. A great feat of angst (but mainly in the first one). Romance with a fair dose of sadness. While writing these drabbles I used three songs: I. Dionne Warwick – Heartbreaker, II. Linkin Park - Somewhere I belong, III. Sara Evans - Could not ask for more.

Summary: The time between 6x08 & 6x18. It's not the happiest time for the girls – but we love them both nevertheless.

Notes: Oh, this my first try on the Will&Tara pairing. I've read a great number of fics with them, but didn't feel the inspiration to write one. So, it's like baptizing of sorts. Witches rule!
