Married on a beach in Belize, surrounded by family and friends, sounds like a great wedding! It's a big relief to Edward at least, that Bella doesn't want to be a street cop. They love each other fiercely and are such passionate people that it can make talking a little difficult sometimes... or maybe it makes the listening part a bit harder. Lol. Exactly! Bella was definitely not what Esme ever expected for Edward. She was allowed to be a bit shocked and question things a little. Yeah she probably could have used a tiny bit more tact, but Bella seemed to understand... which hopefully showed signs of her maturity. Really though, Esme just wants him healthy and happy. Once she sees that he is, I think she's okay. And yes, Bella definitely wasn't the only one on the end of some interrogation. Lol. Charlie is probably lucky Bella didn't take a swing at him! She was really angry at the news of his being her father and that he had made Edward keep quiet about it, too. Bella and Rose are developing a better relationship and it's nice she will be working some at the shelter. This first date is okay so far, but I sense that it is about to become much more interesting soon!

Charlie's definitely lucky she didn't do worse. Lol. Time will tell if she'll ever give him a chance to redeem himself.
Having a real friend is something new for Bella and I think she found a really good one in Rose. She seems to truly have Bella's best interests at heart.
I think working at the shelter will help Bella feel more like a part of society and help her maybe grow as a person and maybe even start to understand herself better through meeting other women who come from bad situations.
As for the date... nothing ever seems to go simply for these two. Lol. We'll see how things go now that things are out in the open.

I knew Bella would not be thrilled with Edward being removed from protcting her! I hope she gives him a break about that, since he had no say in the matter. What the chief says is what has to happen. I loved that James learned his plan to kill Bella came to nothing, and that his goose is cooked!
