Oh my gosh. So much happened this chapter, some I didn't see coming. I want to smack some sense into Carlisle and make him see Alice for what she is. She's evil. She's caused her own brother to be shot, nearly killed. Charile was bat-shit crazy, probably killed Renee because she found out about Alice and Siobhan. Though I'm not sure as to why he'd kill Emmett, unless Em went after Charlie for his involvement with Alice. I'm sure Alice twisted the facts to benefit her. I can see the groundwork being laid as to how Siobhan will come to live with Bella and Edward. In a way I feel bad for Jasper, but on the other, he decided to stay with crazy Alice. Poor Esme, she's been through so much in such a short time. Love seeing Edward and Bella growing stronger together and uniting as a couple. Thanks for an awesome chapter.

This chapter was just fantastic! Really compelling and still difficult to read how much pain and suffering these poor people were put through.
Obviously the entire family will need some form of counseling or therapy for various issues they are and will be dealing with for a long time to come.

Wow, I am blown away with the theory of how Charlie might have been involved with what happened. If that's true, then it's sad how much control he wanted to keep over Bella. It doesn't excuse Alice and her actions. She always wanted her brother to be with Angela and peobably thought Bella wasn't good enough for him. By colluding with Charlie it was a way to get what she wanted. I think Bella was right about Edward and Alice. She was his sister but he didn't always approve of her treatment of Bella. But he trusted Jasper and believed whatever Jasper said because they were best friends. I think Angela videotaped Bella's rape but under Alice's orders. She went along with whatever Alice told her to do because she wanted Edward back and if they could make him believe Bella was sleeping around that would happen. Charlie will be very surprised when Bella gets a restraining order against him. He will realize that he has truly lost his daughter then. Maybe he wanted that control because he loved her and thought he was doing right, but by setting everything in motion by what he may have done, he has lost her.
