Poor Edward is really suffering from his past... but I'm fairly sure that Bella will help him work through this. She is very patient and already understands that there is more behind. Also I think that Edward will try to hold up the facade of just being fuck buddies, but this will not last long. Especially not if another man may come into the mix and his jealousy comes up :D
They are already treating each other like a couple, only that it's not official... So I keep my fingers crossed that Edward sticks to his thought of living this one life that he has!

As for little Jake, the poor guy really needs a good family so that he will not become like his "family". Hopefully the authorities will make it right...and soon! But I can also see Bella not leaving him and maybe even take him in at some point (much later in the story?)...who knows!

I hope Jake doesn't die. His family should be put in jail for their mistreatment of him! Ugh. I like that, now, Edward and Bella are working together. That can only be good for the patients. Thanks!

I'm worried about Jake. But his Uncle did sign the papers so maybe Billy will take it out on Dam. Bella is getting attached to Jake. Can't wait for more. 

Poor Jake!  I hope he makes it back to Bella somehow.  Someone needs to do something before he ends up dead. And it sounds like they need to lock up his family and throw away the key.  Loved it.

Another fantastic chapter. I love how Edward is opening up to her slowly and that they are starting to trust each other as well as depend on each other. Looking forward to some birthday goodness. I'm hoping someone caught/seen him kissing her.

The fact that Edward didn't need a whole lot of coaxing to talk about his ex-fiancé nearly breaking him, shows a new level of healing in his heart and mind. All due to the beautiful thirty year old brunette begging him to help her celebrate.

Edward always seems to go a step forward then 3 steps back.

Great  story  so fsr!  Hope you  are  getting  rid  of  Heidi   What a  pain!

I hope they can find Jake and save him from his abusive father. Heidi got what she deserved. Bella and Masen grow closer. I like this story but it's quite harsh on more than a few characters.

Poor Jake!  I hope someone rescues him!  My heart breaks for him and for Bella not getting him help in time.  Someone needs to beat on William Black and show him how it is.  Abusers are weak cowards who pray on the weak.  I'd love to take a baseball bat to him and teach him a lesson with a hefty dose of ass bearing.  Then take Jale away from him and love on him forever the way he deserves. 

So sad. Poor Jake

He liks it a little being her boyfriend!!! Fricking Alice!! Bella might have gotten some lovey time when he laid her in bed. As i got closer to the end of this chapter, i was chanting "don't end yet!"
