Thought I had missed part of this story for a minute, until I read the A/N. Just when I thought everything was going okay for all the Cullens, that damn necklace shows up and it all goes sideways. There's a bad feeling that was Aodhfionn, turned to a vampire and determined to find Alice. Not sure why, exactly, but it must have to do with their shared heritage. If the newborn isn'tAod, then I'm stumped. Chances are, it's a plot on the part of the Volturi, to destroy the Cullens.

I kind of feel like saying, all's well that ends well! It looked kind of dicey for a while, so I'm real glad that Jasper amd Alice made it back to Maggie. Scars and sorrows aside, I think they'll be alright for a while yet.

If Aro didn't bite Aodhfionn, who was it, Caius, or maybe Jane? I hoped for a minute he would get out of Volterra alive, but I guess his vision was correct. At least the Cullens are safe, until January, then the cat and mouse starts again. Boy, I wish they could go up against Aro and company and end them!

Sleeping, weeping, how many other human traits will Alice manifest before this quest is over? She seems to have the jealousy thing down pat, plus guilt for sending Jasper into this mess in the first place. Aod keeps saying he will protect Alice, but I'm wondering how he plans to do that.

I bet it didn't hurt Jasper's feelings a bit to puke all over those faerie shoes! I'm glad Aine has agreed to help them thwart Aro's evil plans. Maybe by staying the night with the faries, Jasper can figure out what it is he feels that produces venom around them.

It all makes perfect sense! I don't know why it never occurred to anyone before, that Alice is part fairy! Sure explains a lot, when you think of it. Why she and Jasper have no powers in this magical place would be interesting to discover, too. I like that you have provided more of her history, also.

Okay, I'll bite! What's a baobhan sidhe? The fae seem to think Alice is one. This has been quite an experience for her and Jasper both. Poor Maggie, she must have had a crush on Edward(and who wouldn't?) and it saddened her to hear he was married. Can't wait to see where this is going.
