Edward may think he's pushed Bella too far by revealing his feeling but in reality she's been having feelings for him for quite a while and he's just confirmed for her what she's been wondering about for a long time. I think he was right when he said she wasn't ready, I never looked at that way but I think she does need more time to come to terms with the way she feels for Edward, more importantly for her step brother as that is what everyone else will see. There could be a lot of people who are unhappy when they get together. I should imagine there'll be lots of whispering and gossiping going on, they'll need to be strong for each other and secure in their love for one another. I really love Edward's POV, he's sarcastic and funny. *grins*

I knew he felt more than brotherly feelings for her by the time they got to college but I never would have thought that he felt that way from the beginning. I love that the box Bella thinks is full of porn is full of Bella, it's Bella porn in a way, lol. I think Edward's right about Emmett wanting to string him up if he knew the thoughts he had about Bella. Would it be the same now they're older or will he be able to rationalise it better? Maybe that's something Rose would help him with. Lol, his self control has really been tested.

I actually thought that Tanya had asked Edward to stay away from Bella. That seemed like something she would do. Its sad that he felt he had to stay away from her to try to make a relationship with Tanya work. He should have known that, with as much as he missed her during that time, there was no way he could keep going without her.
Listening to him talk about his time with Tanya was hard. He was so depressed and he was trying to handle everything alone. If Bella didn't take him aside and get him to talk, he would have lost it. If anything good came out of the situation with Tanya, it was that Edward realized that Bella is the love of his life.
YES!!!! I'm so happy he understood what Bella was really trying to say at the end. He knows now that she cares for him too and she only used Riley as a stand in. They will both get what they want but they have to tread lightly to do it.
I'm sad that we won't see too much from Edward's view. I always love hearing his side. But, as long as they can be together, I guess I don't care who's side it comes from. Excellent job. I so love your work. Until next time - D

I knew he had feelings for her but I never expected them to got all the way back to when they were ten. I had assumed that he developed them over the years and only recently started realizing it. I can't imagine how tormented he had to be all those years. Having sex with girls but always thinking they were Bella. Always afraid that Emmett would find out and want to hurt him. Watching Bella with Mike Newton of all people and then finding her in the backseat of his car. That has to mess with his mind.
It was so sweet when he described what was in that box that Bella almost opened. Usually its a girl that keeps things like that but he cares about her so much that he wants to hold on to everything. And I love that he actually wrote music for her. I can't wait to see what she will say to him if he ever shows her what's in that box.
I'm glad he was able to realize he had been treating girls with the exact behavior he was trying to protect Bella from. He needed to see it.
This is so good. Thanks for giving this to us. I'm off to read the next chapter - D

it is really funny to read a dudes pov re: puberty.. guess i never really thought about 'boners' popping up all the time.. lol..poor guy, thinking all those thoughts about Bella and feeling guilty cause she is supposed to be his sister. It's a wonder the poor boy did not need intensive therapy. Loved the line 'things were harder every day, and i mean that both figuratively and literally.'
