I can understand why readers get upset with you when you update every few weeks. Its because your story is freakin fantastic! It took me 1 day to read it all to this point because RL with being a mom and all but I could not stop. From start to now I was hooked and I did not want to stop. I will review every chapter from here on out so here I go. I am so happy that Edward has opened his heart to Bella and letting her inside a little. What Tanys did was unexcusable and downright hateful! I have a bad feeling that Edward does not have closure with his Tanya situation and I am afraid that he might do something that will cause Bella to flee even if it will be by accident. His dream meant something and that something to me is unfinished business. I am guessing that James met up with Tanya at the resturant and that is who Edward saw at Starbucks. I am wondering what happened to the baby? I am in awe with this story and I can not wait to read the next chapter! Awesome story!!

Wow...you've kind of left me a little speechless by this comment - and that usually doesn't happen to me. I am very thankful and pleased by your comments, it means a lot to know that my readers are enjoying my story so much. This is my first published story (where people can actually read my stuff - most of what I have ever written has been for my own benefit), and I'm still learning as I go - so again, thank you.
As for the chapter...what can I say, Edward is still having his doubts, even if they're subconscious, and yes - he hasn't really had his closure with Tanya, so that will be a meeting that no one will forget. There is still so much in store for everyone, please stay tuned....my next few chapters will be in EPOC, Bella will make her way back soon, she has a lot to deal with since she's become friends with the Cullens and her possible connection with Edward.
This is going to end up being more than the 35 chapters I had planned out. 20 chapters and it's only been two weeks for the characters, lol. Thank you again!

The Cullen clan is all about love, care and support...I wanted to incorporate that in my story too.
I'm glad the "feelings" came through in my story, it lets me know I am doing it right...I want my readers to be able to either put themselves into the character or 'feel' what they feel. I'm glad it worked *grin*

Good....glad Edward got the support & acceptance he needed from his family. I'm glad you didn't retell the entire story about the rape, etc., but I was hoping for more reaction from the family regarding the Tanya fiasco and maybe more info or update on where she is and the baby.
Question...if Bella is from Forks, are the Cullens from there as well and did they know each other in high school? Maybe I need to reread some earlier chapters. I know Edward & Emmett are older but what about Alice or did they go private?
Anyway, thanks for the nice update I'm glad Edward & Bella are moving forward albeit slowly but that's okay. Just not too slow, okay?! You know we need our lemon merengue (fluff & citrusy!).

Edward didn't really want to rehash the whole Tanya thing...he's finally moving on and to bring it up again would have take a few steps back.
I will say that Tanya will be coming back...so those questions will be answered soon.
Yes everyone is from Forks and they all attended high school together but they didn't 'know' each other....the Cullens had their own little click and Bella had her group of friends...Bella and Alice acutally talk about it in a previous chapter. Bella know about them, saw them around school but thought herself 'unworthy' of getting to know them. Alice and Bella are both 18, they graduated in the same class.
Things will continue to move along...but there will be some 'bumpy' roads that intervene, causing some issues. (Hey, that's where the angst comes in...sorry, but have faith in me...this will have a HEA).

Bella is fighting it for a couple of reasons, yes, James is ONE of them. Edward is fighting, and losing at this point, but he's still fighting because of the crap he went through with Tanya. He feels he will only get hurt again if he allows himself to get involved with someone. But he's starting to feel comfortable with Bella, for a few different reasons. It will all work out...it's just going to take a little bit of time,and James and Tanya out of the way. Stay tuned!

What I meant by transitional was that this chapter felt, to me, like a bridge so to speak to the next phase of the story. You've been great in setting the stage as to what, why, when & where all this has occurred to make Edward the way he is.
He's been hurt & crushed in the most heartbreaking & deceitful of ways and now, he's willing to share the pain, guilt & fears with his family. Therefore, a transition to the next phase.
There's no need to edit this chapter; it's perfectly fine the way it was written.
For me, it's been 14 chapters of build up, wonderment, questions & now with Edward feeling the strength & impetus to share the "whole story" with his family, I just felt that this was the chapter that was needed to get into the present.
No offense was meant or intended.
Author's Response: Oh no offense was taken, believe me. You are right in stating this because it was my intension to get the whole story out in the open and for Edward to find his strength, regain his life back - even though he still has lingering issues, he's subconsciously letting them go.

What I CAN tell you is Edward was NOT as bad as James, but he was a little baddie back then. But he will lay it all out there for his family and friends soon. He's not all bad,but he's not all good too ;) - but that is the best kind of Edward!!

I get that Edward is gun shy. He was hurt & deceived in the worse way and now to see his ex friend who betrayed him back in the outskirts of his life?? He's going to let hs anger be in the forefront & push away the physical retain he is having toasted Bella. He's too emotionally raw to get involved with anyone but I also think he's done enough wallowing & needs to let it go. If he truly thinks about it, was he really on live with Tanya or was he in love with the idea of being in love!
Hmm....good chapter but I'm looking forward to seeing what James intents are, what happened to Tanya & kid and Edward letting go of the past.

I'm glad Edward told Bella about his past. I think talking about it helps the healing process.
I really don't want Tanya to return. I think she's shallow, mean & cruel and I don't want Edward to be abused, hurt, used or tormented by her any longer. If she had the baby & James abandoned her, I don't want Edward to feel sorry for her & offer to help nor do I want her to play on Edwards soft side if she lst the baby, etc.

I'm glad you are enjoying the story. I have read A LOT of FF and Bella was always the one in pain. I wanted to take a different route and I am quite pleased with how it is turning out. Edward will have his bouts of issues as the story progresses, but keep reading things will get VERY interesting!!!
