That's it!? This is the first non-Twilight story I have read. I liked it but... Why did she have to lose the baby? That was sad and unbelievable. I had my first baby right before I turned 18, my whole family had kids young and none of us has ever had a problem. At least they worked it out thought, but still.
It just seems like this story isn't done. What happened after that?

Thanks for reading! I actually went on to re-write this story. I changed the ending a bit to fit the new format. It takes place 6 years from the end of this story, and has this story as flashbacks. We get to see Allie and Jason older and wiser. They do eventually end up together and have a baby girl. (In the new story they had been seperated for a few years after the fall out from their relationship) I am shopping it to publishers, but also seriously considering just self publishing it. I'll be sure to post here to let everyone know if/when I publish the newer, longer version.

In this version of the story, Jason is being respectful of Bills wishes. Technically, now that she is no longer his student, he could have a relationship with her. She's only living a few hours away. However out of respect for her parents' wishes, he is waiting until she is 18 and graduated. It's not long to wait, and a small price to pay for familial harmony. (Also, when I originally wrote this it took place in a state thats consent age was 18 :) )
