Firstly, yep, I'm a female. And secondly, the interest has to do with fiction. I love to read and I am open to all genres and characters. While solely reading in the fandom, I became attracted to slash(guy-on-guy) because of my exploration with my choices of stories. To me, it's different. It can taboo at times and familiar and exciting in others. For me, I write it because I like it. To me, it's fantasy which in some way can at times reflect on reality, but I hold nothing against it. It's the difference for me, it's looking at the paper and thinking "okay, I'm gonna make two guys do it, what do I know about that since I'm not a guy nor gay. So how can I achieve this?" Answer: imagination. Slash genre is exciting because it's different and I love that.
So that's why I do it.
