I liked the progress in Bella and Edward's relationship, though Edward needs to calm down about her weight. He was pushing too hard there. I loved them making out in the car. It was quite hot, especially the love bites claiming each other. Of course, they had to get caught. ;) I look forward to their talk.

Well, James seems like a formidable foe for Edward to bring down. I hope he gets some help. I'm glad Bella is working through her self esteem issues in therapy. I liked the session and how Kate pulled Bella's admission about her feelings for Edward out of her and why she left with James instead of alerting the authorities.

I'm just not sure this Edward is redeemable. Sh was so extremely insecure in high school, and he was well aware. Abandoning her when she needed him most sent her whole life into a downward spiral. I don't think I could ever forgive him.
As for Bella...after all the tragedy on her life, that she had to deal with all alone (thanks to that SOB Edward), she is so broken. I don't know if she can ever be whole, especially after hearing Edward go on and on about his dauhgter with that rotten excuse for a human being, Tanya.

I'm glad Edward knows everything that happened with Bella and their son. He had every reason to be hurt by her past actions, as she does for him hooking up with Tanya right after and turning his back on her.
It really bothers me that Edward allowed Tanya anywhere near him when she so openly bullied and made fun of Bella. Where was his loyalty to his friend back then?
Bella has got to stop with the ultimatums and Edward has to stop agreeing with her. I'm glad that he didn't listen to her this time.
They just now need to be honest with each other and work together to bring James to justice for his crimes against her and the death of her father. I hope we get to see Edward get a little badass here.

Author's Response: Hi! It's true that I tend to write flawed characters. People are not perfect! Teenagers — and adults — don't always make the best decisions. That's what I'm trying to convey. We all make mistakes. We're all sorry for something that we've done. The point is to acknowledge your mistakes and try to correct them. As for Edward, he was acting under the misapprehension that Bella had played him. It was easy to fall in the trap of retaliating. His feelings were hurt and he lashed out. Wrong? Yes. Believable? I think so. I've seen it happen in real life. He just was unlucky enough to fall into the claws of the wrong girl, and get her pregnant. His sense of honor took care of the rest and … voila! Shit hit the fan. At least now they both have a chance to right the wrongs. In real life, it's not always possible. On another note, there is something I want to ask you for some time, but I hesitated because I really don't want you to take it the wrong way. I hope you won't. I couldn't help but notice that you rate the chapters between 3 - 3 1/2 cups/stars. My question is why? And let me explain. If it has to do with the storyline itself, then there's nothing I can do about it, and it's just a matter of taste. But, if it's because of mistakes I made in them that can be corrected, or if I could have improved my writing, then I would really appreciate your feedback. I am trying my best to weed out as many mistakes as possible when I edit, but maybe I'm missing things? I don't have a beta, so any advice is welcome. If you have any pointers on what I can do better, I am not going to turn them down. I hope that I haven't offended you in any way. English is not my native language, and I'm not a professional writer. This is not criticism for the rating you gave my story on my part, it's just a 'cry' for help. This is so sad, but I'm glad Edward has figured out who Matthew is and Bella knows that Edward had a daughter and is now divorced. Hopefully, they can now mourn for their son together. She needs him...and he needs her. Bella has to trust Edward to help her from herself and James.

Though I didn't like that Bella used the threat of going to another guy to relieve her of her virginity to get her best friend to have sex with her, I thought the sex scene itself was good and I loved the miscommunication that resulted afterward. I hope Bella can make Edward see that she enjoyed what happened and did not regret it. He also deserves her apology for pushing him into it.
