Author's Response: Thank you so much! Tainted is a little bit tougher of a read. It focuses a lot more on the mutants and Aro's crazy self. Bella's a mess, Edward's a mess. They're separated throughout most of the fic. It was difficult to pull together, but I think it came out pretty good. It isn't an easy read. If you want E/B to have diamonds in their eyes -- it doesn't happen, not until the end and that's not easy to come by for them.

Author's Response: I'm so glad you enjoyed it! It was my first time in years that I've done any creative writing. I do love the story and hope to get around to cleaning it up and reposting it as a much more polished fic. I did write a sequel, PP2 - Tainted. It is faster paced and focuses on the mutants a bit more as Bella struggles to be reunited with a kidnapped Edward. It is more mature than Pure Perfection - a little more emotionally complex as Aro's plans unfold and we learn of just how many lives were torn apart, the whys and hows of it all. Bella's emotionally volatile throughout and her powers begin to manifest in new ways. I'm sure Tainted hasn't been as well received because Edward has a couple of close calls with other mutant women; but Aro's goal is to have him breed, how else is that supposed to happen? Bella also forms a connection with Gambit, but they both are vulnerable and profoundly feeling the loss of their mates who the other happens to bear remarkable similarities. Like I said, emotionally complex, the E/B purist have a problem with them being in discord. They do have their happy ending. Thanks again for taking the time to read Pure Perfection. Honestly, I think you handled it pretty well and wrote it pretty well. To get justice doesnt mean they have to fight a battle, or battle after battle. Aro and the ones that lost their lives was enough.
My only hope is that Edward and Bella never have a child. That's one thing I hated about Twilight. They could have made a whole book of the different hardships and fun and family things that could have happened after Bella changed, but no, they had to have her have a child... what a waste...
I'm looking forward to the end. Are you going to do a Sequel?

OMG Ive always skipped over this story because I thought it would be retarded and i regret that I thought it was one i read already, which was poorly written and bella was controlled by edward and the cullens never letting her be herself, like treating her like a danty little glass person.
I hate when people take away her choices in stories, so its refreshing to see you let her be her own person and make her own choices, and have her show the people around her that she can too fight and isnt weak like theya ssume she is..

On the whole your story is pretty good, I know you said you weren't happy with how the latest chapter came our but I found nothing wrong with it in any way.
