im with jasper carlisle went to far but he sort of pushed it on his own with the anger bouncing between but carlisle still should of tried to believe his son one way or the other. keep up the good work

Carlisle should know Jasper better. His code of honor would never permit him to steal something so insignificant, but more, that code would never allow him to lie about it! I have a feeling this is more about Carlisle's embarrassment than about Jasper's guilt. The reactions of the others should be more than interesting! I have a feeling their reactions will be strong. Nice work! I look forward to reading more.

Far Out the way carlisle betrayed Jasper's loyalty and trust. I mean after 50 years of friendship you would think that someone would take your side over any one else.
The other thing is that you didn't say if the leather strap was real werewolf leather. (As cow leather no matter how hard swung wouldn't hurt a vampire)
Now what I would do if I was jasper would be to burn the strap while Carlisle was away pack a bag and leave to visit Peter and Charlotte.
