I completely enjoyed this one-shot! Well written - must read! My view of the lawyer did a 180 from what it was after reading chapter 30 of E.I. - he's a great guy after all:)

Smart man, David Lauer! He knew when to stop poking around and get the hell out of town! I'll bet he's never had a client quite like Renee before, or gotten mixed up in a case quite this, either! This was a great sidelight to this story and I really enjoyed reading it, appalling as it was in spots(those concerning that nasty bitch that birthed Bell).
