My names Mich and I'm a 30 something Brit, dwelling along the wind tossed coast of the UK. It would be romantic to say that I look out to the sea from my home(thankfully the beach is only a 2 minute walk away), but alas, while I can hear that it's close, the British Army had better plans for my view, so I'm blessed with the stunning sight of soldiers on a daily basis undergoing (or should I say surviving) the horror of the assault course. (To say that my inner perv is thrilled would be an understatement)
I have 2 cats, a garden allotment where I grow my own veggies and reading Fan Fic is my dirty little secret/guilty pleasure.
When I'm not procrastinating by sitting here reading, I spend my days buried under piles of paper and notebooks bring to life my tall tales of pirates and werewolves (and sometimes vampires too!) that I eventually hope to send off to a publisher on the off chance that they'll take pity on me and publish them. It's my ambition to have kids going to sleep at night dreaming about Old Jan my pirate and George the werewolf and the adventures that I've sent them on. I know one day it will happen!
I'm writing (or atleast trying to) my first fan fic, however with the the minefield that is FF TOS I've decided to post it on my blog and here on TWCS rather than there and have it removed, because I just know my potty mouth will offend someone. http://tiggy2shoes.blogspot.com/

Summary:
Bella Swan, Senior Intelligence Analyst with the CIA has uncovered a plot to blow up the capitol, but there's a traitor in CIA HQ and they have their eyes on her. In order to protect the country she loves, she has to risk losing everything.
It's essentially a Bella and Edward story, but more along the lines of action and adventure rather than angst and romance, as I'm the least mushy person I know, don't get me wrong, there will be angst, but I'm all about the action. (Just one look at my bookcases at home would have you thinking a guy lived here, the most romantic book I own is Twilight lol, you could say I'm a bit of a Jasper, I like my war books and I have a lot of them.) Thus far I have the prologue up and 12 chapters sitting on my computer being chopped, changed, hashed, rehashed, deleted and rewritten lol I don't have a beta, but if there is anyone out there that would put up with my crap feel free to get in touch. It would be great to bang heads with someone else.

I used to work for a well known UK wildlife charity in one of their wild animal parks. I also had the pleasure of working on a wildlife documentary at aformentioned wild animal parks and got to spend time working with a sadly now deceased Steve Irwin (Croc Hunter). However that is no longer the reality, as I have Chronic Kidney Disease and am now pitifully unemployed and waiting on a kidney transplant. This means that a chance for a sudden disappearance should said kidney become available is pretty good. More time for writing though! Bonus!

If I wasn't doing all this creative stuff, or pumping myself full of drugs to keep my kidneys going a bit longer, I'd be fullfilling my other big dream (one day I will) I've loved sharks since I first saw Jaws aged 5 and I've had this dream to swim with a Great White from that moment. Admittedly as I've gotten older I've come to the understanding that perhaps a dive cage would be a good idea in this instance, but I will do it one day! Unfortunately we don't have them in the UK and at this current time travel is not an option that is available to me.
I have a sort of bucket list (or I should perhaps call it the "You aint Dead Yet List")
I believe that you write your own destiny.

I keep coming back to this story, it's one of my all time favs (the first completed fan fic I had the pleasure of devouring), I've just read it again for the 7th time (yes it's that addictive!)
I love that Bella is much stronger and fiestier than the books, I always wanted to give her a kick, not that I'm saying original book Bella is a sap and too damn tame, but damn, she's a sap and too damn tame lolol
I love your Emmett, no really I love him(I'm lucky to have a brother just like him,(looks and personality) but I could never see him like I see Emmett because that would be oh so wrong lol), I want to take him home and lock him in my room for say a few years, only coming out to pay for pizza. Damn. We could play naked Rock Band, it would be awesome hehehe.
I loved the addition of the Summer Knights outtakes, they should the progression of Edward and Bella's growing feelings brilliantly.
How can you improve? I don't think you can, this story rocks my world, only thing that could drag me away would be an action packed sequel ;) *hint hint*

I've considered a sequel, but I think the major drama in their life is over...although someone did suggest the intriguing idea of looking at Emma and Kellan's blossoming relationship with the family dropping in. That was tempting. Thanks for the awesome review. It always makes me happy to hear I've written something that makes people want to read it again and again. It's wonderful to read another story that proves that there is more to fan fiction than lemons. The plot was imaginative and very original. I loved the mixture of canon creatures and mythology, very clever. I really enjoyed that you stepped out of the usual Bella moved on and Edward suddenly jumps back in and bam they're back together. I found Gabriel a very credible match, and what a novelty to see the Volturi (well some of them) actually being somewhat good guys.
I actually cried when Edward died, I never do that! I was pleased it was an honourable death, it suited him and fit the story well.I just knew that as soon as the sword of light someone, a major player for certain would be dieing, I'm glad you didn't choose the obvious with Gabriel/Isabelle.
Over all a cracking good read, I'm glad I found it, and will no doubt read it again sometime.

Darkly humorous and very nicely done. I have to agree on the Jacob front, the guy grates on my melon, for a supposed hard ass future chief/alpha, he's a whiny little bitch. So yeah, Edward rip the puppy's head off. lol
I really enjoyed the Jasper taking command like he was directing an army, heck the only thing missing was the townsfolk with pitchforks and flaming torches coming to hunt them down for the attrocities they'd commited.
Summary: Bella is deaf and due to her disability she is unable to do the one thing she's always wanted to do, follow in her father's footsteps and be a firefighter. Overcoming the hatefulness of several people, she works in the firehouse, but can she be the saving grace in a scary emergency situation?
