NARCs in the club or is it a rival that creepy guy and Chilly are working with/for. I knew there was something more to Edward than meets the eye. I'm curious to know how deep this goes, what has he done?

Edward's so emotional. It's touching, but kind of disturbing.I hope he doesn't run into any threats pointed at him. That he stays out of danger--then again, the nature of what he does is profoundly dangerous.

I love that he isn't afraid to weep in front of his woman, that he's showing vulnerability only to her. Edward is a good man.

Jasper always struck me as a slipery mo-fo. What's his angle? That was a total buzzkill from all the hilarity of the previous chapters. I guess we have to get back to work, huh? It would be a shame if Edward had to ice Jasper. Which loyalty comes first?

Damn, what a day...too much tension coming from everywhere. The poor girl can't get a minute to just decompress for a minute to grieve, or celebrate, or whatever she wanted/needed to do for herself.

Alice is seriously pissing me off. She needs to grow up. She sees her girl battered, bruised, and shell-shocked, but she thinks partying is gonna solve it. I know Bella wasn't entirely forthcoming, but you'd have to be a real shallow, dumb bitch not to see that there's so much more than what Bella's admitting to. Rose senses it and was trying to get Alice to back off. Good for her. But what is she trying to do with CJ?

I don't know what to think about Jasper and Alice. One minute I think he doesn't like her. She's pushy and spoiled. It seems like he's forcing himself to be pleasant to her. Maybe she'll grow on him, but right now I want him to muff her head and kick her to the curb. She's sloppy wrapped up in a shiny package.

I thought Emmett was smarter than that. I'm not liking him in this fic so far. I really won't like him if he's suddenly a turncoat. I know that in this type of life your own survival comes first, so you have to work hard to maintain the RIGHT alliances. I hope Emmett understood EVERYTHING that CJ said and not try and jump bad when he sees Edward again. He's gonna end up like Jake.

Marie thinks something is up with Bella and CJ. I feel bad for her. She's had his kid and she's stuck at the crib. Maybe we'll learn a bit more about their relationship. I thought you said in a previous chapter that CJ practically worshiped the ground Marie walked on. It seems like it here, he's sweet.

Whoa. I don't even have words for how thrilling that was. Bella is a tough one, I'm proud of her. What in the world is going on? It's bedlam!

I still don't quite know about Riley. Something seems off about him and his loose behavior. Is this some kind of test for Edward, to see what his instincts and natural aptitude are? Seems awfully risky, rolling up on a bunch of cats they don't know.

That hit on Around was intense, got my blood going just like Edward.

He needs to tell/show Bella that he's ready to take things up a notch. What is he waiting for?

Rose and Riley, whoa! Bella's knocked up, Edward's gonna freak, but I'm confident he'll man up and do the right thing. This just speeds up his plans.

Damn, Bella's young and working up the courage to drop a bomb on Edward. In have to say that her word choice was not the best, even though she WS following along with Edward's line of thought.

This is all kinds of messed up.

They are so ridiculously cute in their blunderings. So glad they're at least in the same space and are attempting to talk.

I'm just about to burst into tears. Edward is all kinds of wonderful. So attentive and loving.

I knew Riley was one of the good ones, at least I hoped he was. Old man Colleoni spoke volumes without actually saying much--except that promise he made to Edward about double-crossing him. No need for inferences there, he made sure that Edward understood exactly what he meant.

I just love the complexity of this story. Edward's duplicity and trying to learn these two worlds and balance the two halves of his life.

Look at Bella, dropping knowledge on them. You go girl! I could feel Edward's pride in his woman.

This is getting really juicy. I do not like CJ at all. I look forward to reading about his demise. He won't go down without a fight.

What is up with Jasper, getting all grabby and loud? That's not like him...is it? I'm glad Alice let him know what's up. Check Bella out, jumping up in the middle of that and checking her brother. Homegirl has grown a pair. I'm proud of her.

That is some major foreshadowing there. Riley's head is already a little too gassed up, this sounds like trouble.

I hope Edward continues to be alert and trust few.

What will.Charlie think about this changed relationship. He's not stupid, I'm sure he's had some suspicions.

Edward's coming back into play, sexually? I hope Bella doesn't get caught up with him. I always liked her best with Em.

My mind is absolutely blown. Is Emmett jealous now? It was a little squicky that they'd been sibs for so long, wouldn't they feel more familial? Maybe that's what Emmett's problem is, he's conflicted.
