From a young age; Edward Masen was taught that love was found through vibrant red blood, and so he searches for years after the one person that will make his heart beat like the wings of a hummingbird. He finds her as a child, but stays in the shadows and watches as she grows. But he is a selfish  creature and can't stand as she is robbed from him by her friends. Jealousy and rage takes over and in the end he has her alone.
