Hi there, and thanks for stopping by!

Where to start, seeing as I new to this whole writing thing...well I'm a 30 something mum of 2 from the UK who finds heaven by getting lost in books. After watching the first Twilight film I was hooked...but then again I've always been a sucker for a good romance (the films have also led to me having a rather unhealthy crush on Rob Pattinson which makes me feel like a dirty old woman...but he's so pretty, and I love how riduculously awkward he becomes in interviews which then leads to him saying totally inappropriate things!). I bought the books and devoured them, but the problem was I had fallen in love with the characters and was left wanting more when I finished Breaking Dawn. I stumbled across fanfic kind of by accident after a conversation with one of my cousins who writes and I've been reading it for the last year or so.

They say that everyone has at least one book in them, and I hope that's true becuase deep down I've always wanted to write, but never felt confident enough in my own ability or ideas to actually try, but having seen the wonderful plots and writing style that the authors here on Fanfiction demonstrate, I've recently gotten the itch to give it a go and see what happens. I have no idea if any of it will be good enough, but as they say, if you don't try then you'll never know.

I'm hoping to have something ready to post in the next few weeks, but it all depends on how well my creative juices are flowing and whether I'm happy with the end result. Fingers crossed it will all turn out OK and you'll be pleased with what you read...I suppose proof of the pudding will be in the hopefully delicious reviews.

Twilight Loves:

Canon coupling - especially Bella & Edward (I have real issues with her being with Jacob or any other character...to me it just feels wrong).

The other Cullen men...Jaspers Southern charm, Emmett's fiercely protective nature and Carlisle's calming influence in the face of extreme pressure (plus who doesn't want a slice of Dr DILF?!?!).

HEA...I freely admit I'm a sucker for goold old romance where everything works out in the end and I won't apologise for that.

Drama/Angst - life isn't a bed of roses, so I don't see how life for Edward & Bella can be that way either (whether it's a true Twilight vamp/human fic, AU or AH...ups and downs are what keeps the plot alive, and if you can throw a bit of suspense in there even better!!

Lemons - they have to be well written and not sound like something form a really bad porn flick (which is why I will be waiting a while before I attempt to write something smut filled, but hopefully I'll get there in the end).

The villains of the plot - for me it always has to be James, Victoria, Laurent, Tanya or Irina (or any combination of these). I know it's a cliche but I'm a bit of a purist, and while I'm not "Team Jacob" I can't bring myself to write him as a bad person. That said, I have read some good stories where he's been the bad guy, and I enjoyed them, it's just I don't think I can do that in my writing. Same goes for Rosalie - she might be a bitch, but I don't see her as betraying her family.

I hope that some of you enjoy what I write, and I know that I can't please everyone out there, but I do hope that the feedback I receive is positive or at least constructive criticism, because flaming a writer achieves nothing. It knocks their confidence and potentially takes their stories away from those that actually do enjoy them.

So let the reading begin!!!
