CHANGES COMING TO STARS: As some of you know, our server hosting company limits us to 200 emails per hour sending out which includes Chapter/Author update emails. Usually, this isn't an issue unless really popular authors post around the same time. However, Robo-Spammers have been bombarding us with fake accounts for the last few months, some using real peoples information/emails addresses. I've deleted about 4,000 of these accounts this week alone. They've been eating up all our allowable emails since each person who registers, get a "confirmation" email notice with their username/password.

Because of the way our base software is set up, we can't set up a more robust captcha system. So while it will create more work for me (Kelly), we've made the decision to remove the self-registration system completely. New readers/authors will need to email us to request creation of an account; details are on the Register a New Account tab on the main page. This will hopefully help with weeding out new spam accounts and help with the story alert issues as well.

Jenn is working on tweaking some of the skins to include a new Simplicity Dark that was requested.
