It was a difficult scene to write, but unfortunately necessary. I get a running picture in my head and try my best to translate it to the page. Your compliments are most appreciated.
As for my origins, I am a Brit. But the USA is one of my favorite places to visit, and I have many friends who live there. I have had a stop off in Chicago, but did not get the chance to stay for long, and it was raining. However, when I google places, I do like to get down to street level.

Wow thank you for such a wonderful review.
I know what you mean about RL and other fandoms. RL and loss of muse has prevented me completing Hostage Chicago Takedown. However, I promise I will not leave it unfinished. I have been reading a LOT of NCIS ffn recently, along with Criminal minds and LOTR. I am writing a little NCIS one shot, between RL.
I have also been doing a complete rewrite of Dakota Skies. I have been converting it to the 3rd person, removing duplicated scenes and adding new ones. There are a few sex scenes in that, that turn comedic, too. I have one other conversion project -Rainbow Airlines is having a rewrite to the 3rd person, more characters introduced and having a return flight added. I have 3 Original fictions in the works, a comedy near completion, a ghost story just started and another venture into history, in the planning stages.
The short story was published as part of a Dreamspinners Anthology called Don't Try This At Home. My story is called Boys, Toys and Carpet Fitters by Taylin Clavelli.
So as you can see, even though I have not been around ffn much, I have been busy. Roll on 2014.

Emmett as usual, was hilarious in this chapter, I just love him to bits. I'm glad they chose him for best man.
Edward's striptease - holy hell! I'm not surprised it drove Jasper wild - lucky boy - and the Christening of the kitchen counter later was HOT! I really shouldn't keep reading these things at work, hahha.
The wedding was beautiful; their vows were so touching.

Oh, I loved this chapter! Carlisle and Esme so supportive of them and Jasper's proposal brought a lump to my throat. Their love-making after was so perfect and hot.
Loved the karaoke too, Edward's song choice was perfect. I liked the way they told the pack, I had wondered if Emmett in particular had guessed something was between them. I'm glad nobody was completely horrified by their revelation and Leah and Alice get to stop hiding too! Great chapter all round and now I can't wait for the wedding, although I'm going to be sad to come to the end.

Jasper's being amazing and I wouldn't expect anything less. I wasn't really surprised either to hear that Edward blamed himself and feels that his bloodline makes him a bad person. Awww.
The part where Edward remembered Jasper whispering and breathing life into him was so touching I had tears in my eyes.
So good to hear that Carlisle and Esme support them being together too. Now Edward just needs to get well enough to be able to take care of the blue balls!

Lol, between their fear of sharks and Jasper's fear of being boiled alive, they're not having much luck with water are they. I'm sure he'll be fine with Edward there to protect him and keep him sober.
I'm glad that Edward doesn't lock everything away in his head that happened at the bank. He needs to talk about it to process it and I think it's something that will come up for him for years to come, gradually getting less and less at time goes by. They're so lucky to have each other.

They are city boys who feel safe on land - can't say I blame them. On my hols I saw some Orca's and they are damned huge.
Edward does have a tendency to lock things away, but Jasper knows him so well, he is the only one sometimes who can reach him. Ed therefore doesn't hid anything from him. Jasper is Ed's rock. I agree, it will affect him for years to come. He was so used to criminals only seeing the uniform, then the bank incident made it personal and it got to him more than he ever imagined. Jasper will help him become stronger from the experience.
