I loved this chapter. I think all step parents or adoptive parents experience this. I remember doing some of that with my stepdad and I was around 9. And like Liam, I felt extremely guilty. And I've had my own children tell me they hate me. My comeback was always, "Well I'm sorry you feel that way, but I love you."
Can't wait to se what they've been up to in the epilogue!!

Loved the party!! I have boy/girl twins and it's so much fun having birthday parties that were just like Liam and Lucy. My twins, Taylor (girl) and Tyler, just turned 17 last week so we're past the jumpy place, but they do have fun on the trampoline still. Now we have pool parties. And I'm always surprised if we make through some of the things without someone getting hurt in some way. Lol. Never a dull moment. Can't wait for the next chapter.
