I loved seeing a bit of action. Bella is giving more back to the family than she thought she was. She played her part in keeping them safe and getting to Carlisle. I think I like Rose's abilities most of all. To be able to change into any animal, no matter how large or small, and get to places humans can't, seems like a fairly non-intrusive talent to have. I'm sure Edward "saw" that she jumped to test her freedom while she was in the bathroom. Glad she returned! So sad about Mr. Jackson, but really I hadn't become that attached to him yet. He served his purpose, as a character, by getting Bella in touch with Edward and his family. Cold, I know, but true. I wish someone would make a movie like this someday...but first you'd have to make it a book, I guess. I'm putting the cart WAY before the horse here as this isn't even close to being a completed fan fic as yet, but can't help envision the possibilities. This is a perfect mix of Twillight and X-men, or some kind of scii-fi and I'm enjoying the hell out of it!
