you were spot on with Emmetts  excitement level,  i have an 8 year-old son.who is on the spectrum and anytime he sees anything that has to do with the polor express or the statue of liberty we have excitement. i want to thank you for writing this story and bringing about awareness to these amazing people. and that they can live full lives like everyone else. i hope you write more stories that deal with ASD. i would love to know why you chose this topic to write about. fi_am_i@yahoo.com

Thank you! I can't say that I will ever write more about someone having ASD even though my 15 year old son might be on the spectrum or so my 21 year old thinks. He's very high functioning if he is, but he also doesn't display a lot of what might think he's on the spectrum. Whenever I think of Emmett I think of him as a big child at times or at least that is how he portrayed. Most of it was inspired by my prereader as she has a friend who's child is on the spectrum and likes things that are familair to him as well things that make him comfortable. One story that I would highly reccommend that you read if you haven't done so is Simply Edward by CaraNo it is up on her Wordpress.
