I'm glad you are feeling better.....headaches suck. As for Sookie and Eric i'm glad they are thinking of everyone involved especially Jason. However, Jason is a perceptive young man I can almost imagine him having the talk with both of them when the time comes

I love also how Eric and Sookie aren’t immediately together. IMHO, that makes when or if they do more believable!

I rarely read TB fan fiction, but I’m so glad I gave this one a shot. I love it, and I love how you’ve made Eric so real. I always felt that the show did a great job of making you understand why he was the way he was and made you empathize so much. Your writing does the same, even better, and I can hardly wait to find out what happened next!

These two have already been through so much mentally and emotionally only knowing there is so much more pain for them to endure before the sun starts shining is gut wrenching....Sookie is about to hand him his butt

I only know these 'people' from fan fiction as I have not read the books or seen the shows. Having said that I am thankful for the stories and realoly like the different take from different authors. I realize that it is hard to convert stories from supernatural to all human, but feel that you are doing a great job of it. Thanks for your hard work.

Terrific start, I'm hooked. Thanks.

So excited to read your newest work.
My thoughts on this prologue:
The mental and physical discipline Eric's dad imposes on Eric is made worse by the verbal downgrading of Eric.
And While Eric's dad is abusive, the mother is also culpable.
But we know that our Eric will always overcome and become a better man because of it.
