This is all I imagined that Emmett could and should be, not only in this wonderful story, but in S.M.'s original work as well.    I love the 'whole' Emmett/CIA working relationship.  

Even Edward seems to be learning some things while he is in Volterra.

The back story of Carlisle's mom's ring was bittersweet.   I am glad that he has the ring, but the memories of his mom and his douchey dad are really sad.

The new, improved Emmett making his own plans for the future is uplifting.   Can't wait to read more.   Thanks for writing and sharing.
