"I jumped when the lights went black and the shrieking began. Ben was right to compare it the gates of hell or something." I seriously laughed out loud at that part! I loved it for some reason! This chapter was perfect. I'm a big Adam Lambert fan, and you made me feel like I was right there watching him perform. "Aftermath" is a great song, but I just love "If I Had You." In fact, it's given me a story idea, but I don't write anymore. Anyway, that's another story. I loved the concert. The hotel room and the lemon were great, exactly what I expected. Poor Edward tripping while taking his pants off was hysterical! I'm glad you kept it real, how it normally would be for a teenage couple. At least I felt it was real. The references to Lil Edward were too funny! I giggled each time.
Now I can't wait for the morning after!

I was at that Twilight Convention in SF also. I was there on Saturday. I agree with you about Boo Boo. I was getting his autograph for a friend in Peru and he saw my Team Kermit shirt (I am a totally big muppets fan also) and thought it was so great he drew a sketch of it on the photo. I think this story is really cool. It's nice seeing a confident Bella for once and not one who is always putting herself down. Can't wait to see what comes next. This was a great chapter; everything just demonstrates how much Edward has grown up since the beginning of the story. He handled everything with Leah so maturely; it was obvious he really felt what was happening with her, and his desire to help was just so strong it took my breath away! All in all, this was a nice blend of drama, romance, angst, fun, and substantive lightness. I'm so glad Leah opened up about what happened; only when you openly deal with something like that can you move beyond it. Oh, and I loved the ending of this chapter, which Edward's silent vow to himself!

Great chapter. Is it me or did Edward overreact in the fight with Bella? I felt like he was taking his frustrations out on her. It seems like she was only worried about him and he took that as her having no faith in him? He accepted apologies from Em and Rose and even agreed to help Emmett with homework, but he was mean to Bella? That kind of bothered me. I don't think he meant to be mean, but that's how it sounded to me. Bella is a much nicer person than I am because there is no way I would have gone to apologize. I would have waited.
Can't wait to see how this unplanned sleepover ends. Looking forward to the next chapter.
