Well, yeah, I had to cock block it (and by none other than Emmett who has a reputation as a cock blocker as we all know) but it's not like nothing happened...lol. And to my defense, I'll have you know that in my first draft of this chapter, Bella and Edward did finish what they started but my beta wasn't satisfied with the scene and had me rewrite it. However, when they actually "consume" their relationship thouroughly, the wait will be all worth it, you can trust me on this point.

Edward is a bit better now though I still think that he is abusing Bella doing all those sexual things to her without her permission. He could just wait for her to recouver consciousness or try other more traditional ways to make her wake up but he does not because he wants to do what he wants and it does not really matter what she may want or need. He knows that she is not going to want him to do it but he does it anyway. He says that Bella must be respected but he is not respecting her at all. Please don't tell me that this is one of these stories where Edward is awful to Bella and just because he says that he loves her everything is forgotten and forgiven. He has to pay for the things he has done to her in one way or other before to get any reward.
About Bella screaming Jacob's name... What can you expect? he is the only man in her whole life who has treated her as a lady and not a thing, he has treated her with tenderness and respect it is normal that when she is in pain her mind goes to him.

If it was only my call, you would have the next chapter today since it's already written. However, I do want to publish quality writing, so it needs to be edited first, and this is why I have a devoted beta to help me, and right now the chapter is in her hands. I'm on hold like you are...
About the last chapter, and every one involving Edward not being nice to Bella, for that matter, it is absolutely true that Edward is abusing Bella to some extent. However, I want to point out out again that he could have done much worse things to her, including taking her virginity at the first occasion without her consent and he didn't, which is why I think he still has some kind of respect for her. One can see it differently, of course (and Carlisle does)and could tell Edward he is dellusional to see himself as the gentleman, but then again it's just a story, and not one with great deepness in the characters at it. It's a fiction to entertain, not to have the readers overthinking.
Now, you'll see for yourself in the next chapter, but I don't think Bella will fall in love with Edward just because he's repentant and tell her he loves her. There's got to be more to it, although it's a story that takes place in a very short period of time, and therefore not very realistic in regard to developing deep feelings for someone anyway.

Carlisle was right. Aro wanted to punish severely both of them. He was very clever in the way he handled it, cornering Edward. Aro made sure Edward would feel hopeless during Bella's punishment. Thankfully Edward is good at his job and was able to stay as focused as possible so he could stop Aro. I can't say he stopped him on time. He really hurt her badly. Edward was right, control is needed and Aro has none.
Poor Bella, lets hope she remembers what Edward said to her and accepts his assistance and him taking care of her.

We don't really know what happened to Carlisle and his sons between the time when his wife died and when they arrived to Volterra, so what drives Edward is kind of hard to figure out. We know that Carlisle doesn't approve of his sons' behavior, but they are grown ups so there's not much he can do about it. They will have to realize that what they are doing is bad by themselves. However, why Jasper is such a violent man will be explained later on in the story. And yes, there is hope for him too.

Well, somehow it is cruel, but something tells me that Edward is a Dom, for shure, but there is something I feel he won't be too bad- well, ok, he will at the beginning.

I love this chapter (though it is a bit short) I've read some of the reviews and honestly, I don't understand how some people can see Edward as a friend so far. Of course if we want to see Bella fall in love with Edward things have to change and they will in the next chapters. However, I'm sorry to tell you that my next update will not be posted before at least two weeks. I have to translate the two coming chapters and my beta has to edit them but... she's going on vacation and no matter how fast I can translate my story, in the end I always have to wait for her to send the corrections back. Bella is so annoying in this story- to the point of exhaustion! I understand that she is immature, but she seriously has no understanding of her surroundings, and i can't for the life of me understand why she thinks the situation isn't serious. I mean, if I knew Aro wanted my virginity, I would have sex with Edward first thing. And her smart mouth- I seriously just wanted heer to shut up. Does she honestly think there will be no consequences for biting Aro's dick.

Bella was not thinking about the consequences of biting Aro when she bit him, she just wanted Edward to get in trouble. As for having sex with Edward first thing, it almost happened, and maybe if Bella could predict the future she would have done it after all, but heck, don't forget that she hates the guy.

I think Bella does not realize what type of situation she is in. I don't think the Cullens are totally free either. They are just higher up the ladder. I don't think they can leave whenever they want. Bella does know how horrible the Voltari are. I guess she needs to see first hand.

I love your story however this Edward... I'm sorry but I have to say it. It doesn't matter if there is intercouse or not, he is abusing her. So, since my point of view he has to learn to respect her in order to get something in return. The point of "The vulturi are awful and I'm not that awful (though I am obviusly also a monster) so you should be a good girl and let me have you"... sorry it does not go with me. He has just hurt her all the time. So I hope he behaves himself a bit better with her.

Well obviously Edward is not much better than the Volturi for what we've seen of him so far. But Bella is not fooled and she knows that much too so that's why she refused to give herself to him when he told her she should go for it with him. Bella despises Edward at the moment, and for good reasons. Something has to happen if Edward wants Bella to consider him a better man, a man worthy of the gift of her virginity.

I hope you realize I'm just writing a story and that I do not share any of my characters opinion. Rape is a horrendous act but unfortunately it was very common during that period; the king's soldiers sent to attack villages and submit the population would rape the women as if they were some kind of prize they were entitled to. It was not easy to be a woman during those years. The worst thing being that it still happens nowadays in some countries.

Bella has a strong character, she doesn't like being said what to do or how to act. Having so little control over her body's reactions. She realizes she can't control that, but that doesn't mean she won't do anything about it. She will try to get at Edward another way.
Seeing Esme was a great treat, and being guided into the right direction to see Carlisle was also good. Carlisle turned out to be a good person, he didn't react exactly as she expected, but it wasn't bad. She got some useful and enlightening information. The thing will be what to do with it.

I don't think the girls in the harem mind to have sex with the Cullen brothers. Emmett and Edward always ask permission before (Emmett didn't with Rose but she's the one who got her way with him, lol) and if a slave doesn't want to, they won't insist. When Bella refused Edward's offer he didn't push her. He has some respect, still.
