Carlisle is a full fledged vampire. Edward and Jasper are ghouls (half vamp,half human) they have the strength and speed of a vampire and of course allows them to live forever. They can be exposed to the sun and don't need to sleep during the day, they eat etc. But in order for them to remain like that they have to feed from their sire (Carlisle in their case) once a month. If you goggle ghoul it describes it much better.
Yes, to be Embraced is just a fancy term for being turned into a full fledged vampire. I know that I explained those terms in one of my previous chapter notes or in the actual chapter in parenthesis. Sorry, didn't mean for you to be confused.

i like the sexual stuff going on between edward and bella. and i don't think she's weak because she couldn't resist... you can't help the way your body reacts to physical stimulation. i am afraid though that when carlisle gives the okay, they may rape her... it doesn't seem as if he has any qualms about forcing her... i hate to read about rape.

Please continue writing, it is a very good concept and I like the mystism behind it.

Yes it's true Bella is a witch warrior and was taught to battle the demon Nabierus since childhood magically. (ref. chapter 1) But that doesn't mean that she's a gladiator. She is human and a virgin to boot!. She has led a sheltered life and has no experience with men what so ever. She has heard of vampires but had never dealt with them before.
Carlisle is a vampire not the beast that seeks her. He is centuries old and his mind control is no match for young Bella. She might be curious and naive but it in no way affects her ability to defeat the beast.

what are the signs given to show that they bear the curse??? i don't think you specifically said.. unless it's the abilities, like what bella has. but does she have her abilities because of the curse or because she is a descendent?
and what's the time period in here??? is it the 1800s?? or are we in the 1900s?
also, i'm curious about how you came up with all the names for the battles and cities and the way they call themselves. the names are soo unique. is this story a little of a crossover from something else or something that i don't know about? it's a little hard to keep track of all the unique names in the prologue but it was interesting...

As far as the signs go, you're right I haven't revealed that yet, next chapter will give you a hint. She was born with the abilities she inherited them from a long generation of witches and warriors dating back to the 1800's. We are now generations later, in the present time.
As far as the names and battles in my story they are based on actual fact, I just used my imagination to make them work for the story.
