I have no sympathy for Bella. I guess she's lucky to have Rose and Alice on her side but I think she was immature about the whole Tanya thing. I'm also a bit irritated that Edward didn't try harder.
I just like how you have Bella be in the wrong. It always seems that Edward is in the wrong and whenever I read a party scene with Tanya, Edward, and Bella in it, I anticipate that Bella is going to find Edward and Tanya making out or something. However, this isn't the case and I am loving you for it. She finds out that they have a past that he kept from her. The thing is though, at that point, they had been going out for a few months and it didn't seem like they had the past boyfriend/past girlfriend talk.
Bella knew that Edward had previous girlfriends but when Edward and Bella have sex, Edward seems like he was a virgin and that Bella was his first. So, I really don't see why Bella is upset. She irritates me but I'm glad you wrote her like that. That's basically what this whole review is about, I love that Bella is stupid and immature and that although Edward is stupid for not fighting for her, this was mostly Bella's fault which I don't see very often so thank you for that.

D: And he was all "It's okay, I'll go easy on you!" Then I killed him and he got upset and didn't go easy on me. Killed me, but then I killed him again. And again. And again.... He demands a rematch, heehee! ;D

Oh my gosh! Edward saying "five more minutes Bella" was the cutest thing ever! It just shows how comfortable he seems to be with her, when he's not trying to hide it. =)

The twenty questions game was cute, it shows that he really does want to get to know her.

Bella was so cute and naive going to ring the doorbell for the party, lol. And I have to say, I'm not sure how I feel about her trying to get Jake to look like they are closer than they actually are.
And I have to say, I was surprised by the tattoos. I love tattoos though, so it was definitly a pleasant surprise, now if only we could get Edward shirtless, to see his tattoo, and well, drool over a shirtless Edward, lol.
I don't know how I feel about Edward's admission that he's never dialed a wrong number. If he dialed Bella on purpose did he just pretend he was calling someone else so that she wouldn't know? Or did he mean that he didn't technically call Bella on purpose, but he was glad that he dialed her number in the end?

Okay, the whole wrong number thing I shall address first :) He dialled Bella on purpose, and yes it was just to pretend he was calling someone else. He did it to see what her reaction would be, and frankly, he was tired of waiting for something to magically happen between the two of them. So he took the initiative, and called her, but then freaked out when he realized he had no clue what he was going to say to her.
As for shirtless Edward, oh yes...mmm, I know exactly what you mean. He'll be shirtless soon enough!

I just got back from vacation to four new chapters from this story - so excited to see what happens in them! This chapter was pretty great, I loved how Bella stood up to Edward. And the peek into Edward's head was fantastic!

Bella's skewed version of the conversation was actually inspired by this episode of this British sitcom that I watch--it's called Coupling, and the episode is absolutely hilarious, and I thought to myself, "I just HAVE to work that into the next chapter", so I did!

I'm sorry about the chapter length, but it's all I could really have time to sit down and write. When I first started posting on ffn, I asked my readers if they wanted more frequent updates and shorter chapters, or longer chapters with infrequent updates, and they said they wanted shorter chapters. Now that I'm finished writing this story, I may go back and add some more detail in and am going to be editing it quite a bit, but for now, these chapters are always about 1500-2500 words in length.

Well, I decided that I wanted the characters to have different, non-canon personalities. However, I feel that Rose was never really a bitch to Bella in the novels either--I think she was just indifferent towards her. Alice, however, well...she's a different story all on her own lol.
