I think Edward always doing what he thinks is best for Bella is one of his tragic character flaws that can't be overlooked. It fit perfectly into this plot.

The whole James being abusive was never the plan from the start. It just evolved into that as I was writing. I couldn't wait to get B&E back together in this one. I let out a sigh of releif when I finished writing this chapter.

Thanks so much! This story was so easy to write. I'm really late to the party and only discovered the song less than a year ago. The first time I heard it this whole story played out in my head. I was so happy when this contest happened. It was the push I needed to finally write it down. Yes, I think everyone wants an Edward.
