Wow, just read this from the beginning! Thought I already did, but then realized I never started this one yet. Absolutely love it!! Know more s**t is coming their way, but they can handle it! Think Jake is more involved with what happened with Charlie and other things that went down! Seems to me he might of thought that offing Charlie would deaden the deal between the Cullens and the Swans, which happened anyway!

Envy and jealousy make us loose our minds, get ideas in our head that are absolutely wrong. Add rage to it and you got yourself a lunatic. Leah turned into that. As Bella said almost at the end, it was clear they weren't "normal" people, she should have guessed going after Bella wouldn't turn out in her favor. Perhaps she was too hopeful, or simply crazy right from the start.
Bella has a good heart, that's why she needed to know the reason behind Leah's actions, she cared for her some time ago. Realizing someone you trusted and cared for can do what she did has to be painful. Although, in Bella's world that can't happen. That's probably why Rose and Edward were there.
This chapter is over, it won't be the last threat they face, but at least it's not something they would need to worry about anymore.

Edward wouldn't be Edward if he wasn't overprotective and extremely careful about Bella. Even if his actions upset her. However, she was able to do something about both of their situations. Edward was surprised, but I assume thankful at the same time. So he did something for her also.
The idea of the tracking device isn't going to well with Bella. Even though she can see it isn't all too bad, it would just be Edward's excessive worrying. But she agreed to it. Hopefully they will find balance.
Someone really close is after Bella, not something anyone would like to realize, not even her. At least she knows and now they can do more to keep her safe.

Yes, you are definitely right there. Edward just acts the way he is because he loves Bella and is afraid she'll be targeted.
The 'tracking device' is basically a good idea for them but Edward can use it when he gets jealous/possessive of Bella...which is what concerns her most. But she did agree for the implantation.

Poor Bella she really got hurt. I was half expecting the doctor to say that somehow she was pregnant and lost the baby. I cant believe they are letting Jacob anywhere neer her especially when he wont respect her enough to leave her the hell alone.
