I like to think that maybe after seeing Bella first as herself and second as part of the lifestyle helped her to accept the ability to agree to disagree. I hope she can at least mend the fences with Jane.

Loved it! :) I always find it funny when you find out that those that protest Fetishes, kink, bondage and D/s relationships often do similar kinks and activities in the bedroom without realizing they are doing things that would fall under those categories. You are funny. Being Irish does not mean you get bound with rope and get your arse whipped. Being a submissive means that you have agreed that a Dom can do that to you, if they wish. Not all D/s relationship involve what you would typically call BDSM. There is always some form of control, that could be in a mental capasity such as "Keep your arms over your head" or "Don't open your eyes" .. It usually is in a more physical way, by the use of restraints. Either way the sub agrees to it and enjoys it.
When pain comes into play that can also be a wide range from simple hair pulling and spankings to bull whips....also the sub agrees and enjoys it.
Everything else that come into play within the confinds of the relationship is totally done for mutual pleasure and gradification. When he says "come here my little slut" those five words make you wet...(i'm not kidding) four words that make you even wetter ..."get on your knees" ... the three words are .."Now, service me" ,,,,two words ... "good girl" ...the single word isn't even a word it's just a grunt and when he looks down at you with a look of pure contentment and lust, you are ready to cum without him even touching you...
That is a D/s lifestyle and your right it is purely carnal but it is also deeply ingrained in your nature. Some people would want to try a D/s relationship for the (kinky) sex, but quickly find that they just don't have the nature to give up control ..so they only take part in the kinky fuckery (thank you Icy for the term) and that's ok. It's all about mutual pleasure, satisfaction and fulfillment.

You are correct the vegan will not come at you with a bullwhip, they just shout at you with a bullhorn and call you murders for eating meat. The Christain will not restain you with rope but they will restrain you from enjoying your life with all the guilt they try to throw at you and the rules they seem to feel the need to impose. Make no mistakes there are rules and regulations in any lifestlye.
Sit next to a vegan and eat Veal, (smiles...) see what they say.... Tell a Christain that you support same sex marriage (grins..) you had better watch out because in both those circumstances those nice people are going to turn very nasty and would wish they had a bullwhip so they could beat you literally and not figurativly ..and even then how often has violence erupted over such things?

That was fun. The interplay between the two is very authentic and true to the characters in the story thus far. They are very balanced here between dom and sub and boyfriend/girlfriend. I loved it!

It had to be interesting and complicated to write this, but it came out great.
