I feel bad for Edward. I know what it's like to have people be unaccepting of your lifestyle and thing you are sick and wrong. I don't like how remoreseful they both are over the spaning. Yeah, they hurt, a punishment isn't supposed to be fun but usually there is enjoyment in it for both parties. I find when I cry, the release is extremely cathartic as I don't usually express a lot of emotions. A Dom gets off on the control of punishing someone and the sub gets off on being controlled and turning the pain into pleasure. What hurts most of all when you are being punished is knowing you've disappointed your master, not the actual physical part of punishments. There is also pride in enduring it for your master as well as pride in return from him. It's not something either are usually remorseful or stressed over.

Thats sort of what i was convaying. Bella endured it but her tears were from the pain of knowing she had dissapointed him not the pain itself. she felt like a failure have to be punished on her first night with him. He couldn't enjoy it or take pride in it because he was seeing from her inside her mind. it was also the first time they both had been through it. i'm not sure if i am making sense on explain it correctly. one thing i am trying to convy with this story is too many people look at the relationship as barbaric when its rarely that. its a relationship about trust and feeling safe with the Dom you choose. in my eyes its about a sexual choice between two or more partners. people need to understand that. i have a few subs and even an x Dom who keep me in check for accuracy. I hope if you are in this lifestyle and it sounds like you are or were you take no offence to my story. its not meant that way. like i said i started this to open peoples minds to the close emotional bond between Dom and sub with a little vampire drama thrown in. please feel free to let me know if anything is incorrect but keep in mind i am trying to give this lifestyle the repect it deserves. No she doesn't know yet. as for his uniqueness it will be explained to why she didn't pick up on all the little quirks that make up our favorite vampires. She has noticed that he is hard and cold. When the trith comes out it will be in a surprising way. me and dazzle worked very hard on a way that i have yet to read about.

He doesn't hear her when she is thinking something she doesn't want him to know. for example something she might be feeling strongly. she is the one deciding what he hears even though she doesn't know she is doing it and that he can hear her.

HOpefully Jasper will be able to find at least some kind of trace that will give them an idea or some clues as to who those nomads are. It seems they were there for a while, what were they there for? If it was just for feeding, they would just have passed by. So maybe Jasper will be able to find something useful.
It has to be tough for both Bella and Edward, even in different forms, to deal with the idea that one is going to leave the other. Both can say and repeat they won't leave, and still the other has doubts as Bella, or fears as Edward. Particularly him has to think a lot and figure what the future can bring.

imagine when you were a kid and you would lay on your back and pull up your knees agsainst your chest trying to backwards roll over so you landed facing forward on your knees. Bella is basically tied into a ball. tied so she couldn't complete the roll over.
if that doesn't help imagine doing a knee squat, tucking your head between your knees as you do a forward roll you are halted when your butt it aimed at the ceiling.

Esme going to apologize and offering to fix the cottage for them is a great sign that she is really willing to accept both of them and their choices.
Edward will forgive her, eventually. He needs to get pass his feelings and the ones Bella has. Esme's actions also hurt and affected her.

WOW – that was a tough chapter – I cannot believe they were going to rape him – I hate how he felt afterwards…you did a beautiful job – I am so glad they were not successful! I am loving this story (just discovered last night and am sad I am almost caught up). I think you do a great job bringing B out through E’s thoughts since it’s his POV…we still get to know here and her thoughts! Again, you handled that beautifully!

Based on my experiences, I would suggest the cross as a piece of furniture or even a swing. The whipping bench can be used for pleasure as well as for punishment. I know what Esme did was wrong, but as a sub when E asked her to come out, she almost attacked her. She should have approached E the wright way, but didn't. So as a play punishment he should put her on the St Andrews cross and act as if he is going to punish her but have fun with it. She clearly is submissive and would not do anything wrong. This gives him a chance of going through the motions off discipline without really punishing her. LOL

I thought that was hot! I also thought that Edward was way to easy on Esme, I don't think he should ever forgive her. What she did is not something that's forgiveable, even if she was minipulated. Frankly I don't see how anyone in the family could forgive her either, like Rose, with how she was raped before becoming a vampire. I can't see myself ever liking Esme at all in this story. Sorry it took so long to get back to your review. Edward has not forgiven her. as for the family the only one who dicussed forgiving her was carlisle. no worries it will take work and time for her to be forgiven. he is still pissed for the way she tried to play on his emotions on the beach. he's just not letting his family issues affect his relationship with bella.
