This is a sad chapter really its so true though People see kids that are being abused and turn there heads because they don't want to cause problems or be involved I wish there were more people like the Cullan's to help someone out.....

I hope Bella knows that Charlie's violence is not her fault. Being resigned to it and thinking it's her fault are split hairs that make a difference. I like how Edward has no idea how to talk to Bella because he's never had to listen to anyone before.

I guess Rosalie was correct! What an awful Charlie. I also thought that Rose or Edward was keeping an eye on Bella... is one of them aware of whats going on? I know I'll just have to wait and see how you shake it out. Thanks for the update.

wow what a dad. poor bella. it kills me that parents who are suppose to protect their children treat them like trash. he obivously has issues if he can kill her pet. and he is a cop, man i fear for the town. someone has to know he isn't 100% there. you can get drunk and kill animals and beat your daughter and not have any signs for anyone to pick up on. man oh man the way people get away with shit. poor bella. why did her mom send her away. if he does it to bella he proabbly did it to renee and if she knows she is no better than him
