I used to work with children with autism. I volunteered for summer programs. It was by far my most rewarding job. I loved when I was able to communicate with them. I had won boy with a facination with plastic. The sound it made. So I'd tye plastic bags all over my apron and he start to play, play, play. He didn't like people but he's interact when you had plastic. I had one boy who I thought was non-verbal because that's what his family told me. We were having clean up time and I started singing. His eyes lit up and he sang with me. It was the shock of a life time. We then sang every Disney song I could remember. But that's how he communicated sing/talking.
This was a great story. I would like to thank you for all of the sleepless nights. I'd have to just finish a chapter and three chapters later it would be 3 am. I enjoyed your writing style. Kinda mad and happy with the way things ended. For now. lol You're now my favorite author on TWCS
