I'm surprised, yet happy, to tell you that I was excited to see an update for this story! Before reading the story, along with the info you added regarding this particular fetish (thanks!), I hadn't realized the depth to which this fetish could exist. We took Bradley Method birthing classes for each of our 3 kids, but with my compulsion to learn everything I can about something new to me, at that time childbirth, I branched out with my own research as well. I was amazed to learn about folks that embraced the sexual aspects of L&D, and though it doesn't exactly float my boat, it wasn't too hard to appreciate the concept that delivering a baby was a sort of sex in reverse. That aspect made a lot of sense to me intellectually, however, there was not one minute during any of my deliveries that I remotely felt sexy. Yes, it was awesome to play a role in the miracle of creating life, but I still shudder at some memories. I promise, I'm not trying to word vomit a review about my life or memories, just explain the strange sense of deja vu I got when even reading the summary. I've learned a lot thanks to my fic reading in the past few years, though lately I've taken a chance on a few "Fetlife" stories and that's where the aforementioned "surprised excitement" comes in. This type of story has made me more accepting of folks that enjoy or live similar desires to your characters across the board bc I'd never considered the actual person behind the so-called perverse or deviant wants and the courage needed to act on the desires. I'm not sure that was your intention by writing, but I consider it to be a cool perk, whether intentional or not! Sorry to get all philosophical or emo or whatever...I'll blame it on Valentine's Day? Seriously tho, I can't wait to see how these two work through their feelings for each other and how that translates into a possible future together. It seems like both E and B let their ids out to make decisions and will now have to make the choices work in a longterm and logical way, especially after conceiving. It's not like you can just unmake a person!
I hope your muse stays close and technology cooperates so you can share more soon!! If not, I'll read it whenever it's ready regardless. Thanks again for all the reasons above.
