I don't want to believe this but, could Edward moving in next door be a plan to get close to Bella and get evidence on her?  Even if the only thing connecting her to the murders would be that Paul was her ex-boyfriend, which is a very weak suspicion.  Maybe this is why Jasper doesn't like Edward.  I hope the house isn't bugged or that Edward didn't hear any of their conversation.  And I really hope that Edward is clueless about Bella.  I just knew Charlie was going to dig up the evidence.  Great chapter!

Awesoooommmee story!! Loved your style of writing and just Everything about it. But I will say... I need help understanding the ending. The way I understand is the she's leaving but is he ever going to see her again or... You might have said this but she's leaving so why isn't he going with her? I mean no disrespect because this is WAYY better than anything I could ever write but please help me understand.

You're an absolute genius and poet!!  The ending you gave us was, in my mind, perfection.  Bella has been in the lonely, solitary "cell" that was her life many years and times.  She has fought to stay human AND humane.  Her love for Aly is proof of that.  It is undying and pure.  Edward's choice was gallant and to be fair, I had a feeling he must have known something long ago.  The difference is Edward can see the horribly misused and  "real" Bella that the world can not.  I don't think even Jasper sees HER.  I believe he is loyal and sees her as a wounded soul but can't find a way to "cure" her.  Edward's power is in his knowledge, his intelligence, but above all his unwavering love for her - the very thing he knows she needs above all else.  He knows that this will set Bella free.

This story was a damn masterpiece that would make Hitchcock nod in approval.  Thank you so very much for giving us this world and allowing us in.  I have loved every single syllable of it!  If you do revisit it and them, please be sure I know!  I can't wait to see where you bring us next.  Kudos and a big BRAVO from a huge fan.

P.S.  I love the idea of the jar of good things!  I just may start one here!

I feel so bad for Alice!  Jasper's feelings are stopping her from realizing Bella loves her and would celebrate for them both.  I also love Aly here!

Personally, I loved the last chapter!  And this one.  They are different and therefore require a different mindset when both reading and writing.  Anyway - touché!  Bella's ather showing up now is brilliant and now he has her questioning Edward. I happen to think that Edward came in a different door for safety sake.  He has no way of judging Bella's dad except for his past actions regarding Bella.  No wonder he came to check!  Kudos on another winner!

Happy birthday!  For what it is worth, it is far from unloved!  Especially by me.  My theory is that they are reading and not reviewing.  Nevertheless, I do love getting into Bella's head, and it would be fascinating to get into Edward's.  What does he suspect?  How much?  Is he trying NOT to put the puzzle pieces together?  No matter what, you always bring your "A" game.  Thank you!

Amazingly deep and profound as well as well written!

Hmmm so Edward has a "brother" but he confirmed to Bella that he was an only child... And his phone conversation was suspicious too since it was spoken in angry whispers. BUT if a family member was hurt you would expect more concern than anger, right? *sigh* Bella where is your bullshit detector, hun?! I just hope Catwoman doesn't smell anything fishy now that she will have some alone time to think without him "dazzling" her (he totally is BTW) or she will be shipped off to the pound! *bites nails*

Dun, dun, duuhhhn. Well, I foresee a killing spree in the not too distant future. Hmm, wonder what will happen when Eddie boy returns...

Fuck, that was an awesome chapter. I would be so pissed if I were Bella.

Really enjoyable chapter. I'm glad I kept at this story; I found the first few chapters a little hard to get in to. But now, the pace is good, the plot is thickening and I even like the short style of writing you take when she goes into kill mode. Anyway, I'm going to add this to my favourites now :)

Wonderful.  She is finally able to begin opening the door for Edward - no matter how much that terrifies her.  Bella has come a long way!  With luck, Edward may find he doesn't need the whole truth.  Loved it!
