Perfection! I'm so happy to see Carlisle and Esme back and more than amused by their kids waiting in their cars like little kids ready to get dressed down by Mom and Dad. Bella seems to know her parents better! Again, Roscoe is a joy and Apples is precious!!!! They should be a real twosome.
The details here all help make this story such a treasure. The self defense classes and how the women dress are a perfect example. Is has become a REAL town and home - one I'm sure most of us would love to visit or reside in. Thank you for taking such care to give us such a quality story! The updates are always worth any wait!!!

Amazing chapter! So-o great! This covers the whole gammut - Bella's difficulties at school affecting her familial relationships and the strength derived from them, Bella's empowerment, and her attack and the subtle problems that seems to be causing. Brilliant! By the way, I said it before; I'll say it again, " how amazing is Roscoe!?". I do love to "hear" from him such as his thoughts on the taste of humans and his devotion to his girl and humans.
Maybe it's just me, but I keep hoping that this will bring Esme and Carlisle home. This attack, Bella's after affects, and the encompassing events almost beg, in my mind for them to return. They Skype with Bella, so I must assume they chat with others. I know my mom saw my face bruised from getting hit, she would be on a plane straight away. They are the center of the whole family and help create the gravity needed at times like these. Your characters are just that amazing!

The more I dwell in this chapter, the more I'm convinced Mark is not very intelligent.
He divulged his stalking her, he referenced access to private medical records therefore exposing an accomplice, he neglected to figure out the family ties Bella has with the very connected Cullens, and he is now up for assault and battery; he's an obsessed pervert.
Hoping Jasper is right....Bella will not run and hide from all this trauma/drama.
When Carlisle finds out, what will he do and or Dayton the university?

Roscoe is AWESOME! I have a 1/2 Aussie and he is wonderful and soooo smart.
That poor girl just can't catch a break... I hope she is wrong about things being ok, she deserves a normal happy life.
How did Mark get private health information? He could be in trouble for that as well. Or did he get that information from one of the few people in Hope Springs that is against her? Like one of those women that Edward spurned or the young man that drugged her? Or did he break into her private college file? I can't wait to find out as the story plays out.
I have a feeling that Mark will not be given any kind of chance to explain, given that he followed her home and attacked her in broad daylight! With witnesses.
I loved your homage to "Pretty Women", although it didn't end up being very funny to her audience.
