I know that it's seems like Bella is too trusting but she sees the Cullen's as the only people, other than Charlie, who she can trust. Once she was able to open up to Charlie about everything, it opened a flood gate of sorts.

I can totally understand Bella's thoughts about how she feels. For the longest time I blamed myself for what happened and it was not until i could get around that did i start to see myself different.
