Bella couldn't get a tattoo on top of her scar after only a few days/weeks - I can't remember how long it's been. The ink would bleed and it'd look shit and hurt like a mother fucker. She'd have to wait a few months.

Well, if the scar is superficial, I guess it wouldn't be that much of a problem. Besides, now they started to use local anesthesia for tattoos too sooo....and there's the fiction part as well. For example: before stirring me up the stairs (steering?) I don't think I ever heard them talk unless the decibels rise(what?!?!) She blistered when she saw me(blustered?) Carmen buttered in, taking our side. (butted?) I accommodated with living there (aclimated?) customary movie night every evening. (if it's every evening, it's not movie night - redundant) making him disappeared from view again. (disappear) I sized up the opportunity to smash my fistful of popcorn to his face (seized?)
