Another great story Cat. The part about Elizabeth was alittle upsetting to me but that is because my Nephew and his wife lost their baby girl 6 weeks before her due date. She got caught up in her cord and it separated. Her name is Isabella Rose, lately LeeAnn (the mommy) has put up some pictures of her on her facebook page, she looks so peaceful, just like she is sleeping. Now my nephew Dean has his own guardian angel for when he gets deployed. (he is a sargent in the Army and going to Afghanistan some time this spring.

Perhaps one of the children could have Bella's initials. It seems to make it all revolve around Edward a bit.
I wonder about Edward always having to inform her of his whereabouts. Sweet, yes, but healthy? Not sure. Bella says she trusts him. Does he trust himself? She says he's "suffocating." It's been 6 years. Will he spend the rest of his life "proving" himself? Sounds like a tough way to live the rest of one's life. Has he come to grips with the reasons why he was so callous and unfaithful? Perhaps if he would he'd be able to trust himself.
A truly captivating and gripping tale told in short sound bites. Very "twitter-like." In a few spots more than 143 characters would have been nice in order to flesh out some motivations.

I just don't trust him. I hope those questions and answers that Bella alluded to in a previous chapter offered some rational explanation for Edward's actions back then. I wish I knew what they were.
Without that, I just think that sooner or later he's going to regress into that selfish ass again. Fear only motivates until you get what you want and believe you can't lose it. After he gets her to say "I do" then what? No more fear. No more motivation for staying faithful?

Ah, my initial reaction is to sympathize with him.
But, then I look at his words. "Succomb to 'their' advances and acted upon them." So, if no one had come on to him, he wouldn't have cheated? He's hardly owning his choices. How does he know what might have happened? Perhaps, he would have eventually cheated on her anyway.
I think he does need to "understand the motivation" before Bella can trust him.
Losing her "scared him." Fear. I'm not sure that 'fear' is enough of an incentive to sustain him when he's faced with feelings of jealousy in the future, and no doubt, sooner or later, there will be a situation when those same feelings will rear their ugly head in their relationship.
"Never again." I want to believe him. But I don't. I hope Bella doesn't either. The poor woman. She's trying so hard to heal and quite honestly, Edward's little speech here leaves me feeling that once again, it's all about him. He's selfish. He wanted her to move in with him when HE was ready. Now he wants a chance with her when it's best for HIM.

Perhaps he wasn't laughing at her, but what exactly was the point of the cheating in response to the jealousy if he didn't sooner or later expect her to discover his unfaithfulness. Why was he unfaithful then? What was the point of it? Did it somehow assuage his jealousy?
The first part of her thought--she's fooling herself. He was most definitely callous and he was most definitely "fucking" other women and he was most definitely doing it behind her back. What the heck is she thinking here?
