I loved how the families melted together. It was good to see that Edward could have a good time. Edward just needs time to heal and someone who will support him, while he is heating. Bella and him need to fall in love and have a huge family.

Despite what Carlisle says, they are all trying to back him into a corner. If those 2 person couples can't take on the job, then why do they feel a single, broken, heart surgeon who works long hours can do it? E needs to fix E. I think that adopting them out, in this case, would be in the kids best intrest. However I know this is fiction and E will end up with B in the end......So I'll shut up now.
This is not a dig on you. I like the story. I just like to talk/yell at the characters sometimes. :-)

I love this story and glad it is back. I think Bella and Edward should share cusody of the children. This way he can still be in their life, but not be overwelmed by their daily care. He loves them and loved being their uncle. He just doesn't know how to transition into a parent. He needs to heal and I am glad that Bella realizes this fact. He just doesn't want the kids to be walled off from love like he has become. He knows he can't love them right now like they deserve to be loved. But he really doesn't want to never see them again either. Poor Edward is so lost. Bella will break through his wall and help heal his broken heart.

I feel for Edward he is lost. I think he is scared that if he loves the kids too much that they will die also. Everyone he loves dies and leaves him. I also think that Esme needs to talk to the kids. They seem to be acting like little brats. They are taking advantage of their Uncle Edward. They need to be reminded that they need to listen to him. He is in charge of them. Esme needs to help the 3 of them become a family. You just don't throw them together and think it is going to work. Edward and the children need guidance on how to make their life together work. Edward could also use some grief counciling. He should have gotten after his parents deaths.

So I have come to the conclusion that they do not want me to look after them!” I sat back on my chair and stared at my adopted mom and dad.

They are hurting like you did after you lost your parents. They are only three; they do not understand why their mommy and daddy are not coming home, or back to them. We can explain it a hundred different ways Edward, but they are too young to truly understand! You are going to have to use the same patience, like you use when you are in surgery,” Carlisle pleaded.
“Sweetie, if you were in the middle of surgery with a person’s chest open, would you give up if you could not fix it? The answer to that is no, you would use every bit of knowledge you had and fight to come up with and answer–even if you stood there for hours on end. So why are you giving up so easily now?” Esme asked.

I just wrote a long review but it didn't go through.
short version: was this written and edited? I apologize if I missed that note but I feel like I read nearly some of this already. the difference would be, I think the whole bella breakup was in 1 chapter. also I felt more insecurity for that bella in that version. this bella, you started out describing her as confident, knowing very clearly what she wanted and going for it. I know bella is typically portrayed as insecure, but you seemed to have a strong bella until the moment she tells felix she is insecure. if you don't need insecure bella for future chapters, I would consider that a revision. the insecure and such pops up a lot in this chapter, but it could be revised to more the sting of breakup, and that causing some question of herself and all that time, but go back to the bella that talked about her past with apparent fondness and will. and therapy, well that could just be a healthy way to ensure she has fully thought and worked through this IVF thing, and not jumping the gun based on her breakup.
also, some sections are overly detailed, less is more. example: the remodel, we don't need every excrutiating detail that the contractor would get, but the big points that shape the story. So, big hitters I recall were the master bedroom remodel to include a nursery, and the furniture/decor being colors instead of girly (fits with Edward, if they are a future connection). other details could pop up in later chapters, like "contracter working on ___", or "happy she changed this v iew". another example is edward discussing his family/past. I doubt all that detail is important, and it jumped people/time period a bunch, recommended future improvement to tell in chrono order, or people order (ie all about alex/jane first). and some sentences/areas were overly wordy.

Author's Response: I understand that you feel Bella as insure... and as you said it is your opinion and I am happy to read everything you have written. I am not a writer that will say... dont like the story dont read. I take everything on board and see where I can change thing. As I have already written up to chapter 14, it is going to be a bit hard to change it all. These chapters have all been edited by three people. I have two pre-readers and one beta. It is coming up on how E&B meet and they are each others rocks. Edward goes through just as much, if not more than Bella. It is not all doom and gloom, only the next couple of chapters, then they meet.
