Author's Response: Yeah! Reactions to her actions were very different. Some readers were very upset because she let Mike touch her in front of Edward, others were angry with Edward for overstepping a boundry. I think it was a bit of both and the mix was just right ;).

What I find so refreshing about these characters is that Bella is a strong girl and knows that she is attractive & Edward is his hot cocky self also. Neither of them are weak even though they have some hurts & baggage from their pasts.

Author's Response: Thanks for the review and thanks for understanding Bella. Some of my reviews over at FFN say that she's overreacting and that she should just pull her head out of her ass. I think that she never learned to trust in a relationship because her trust was crushed after her first time by someone she trusted like almost no one else. You're so right, if someone she's known forever and who has always been there for her and taken care of her can do that to her, a stranger could do it even more easily. I think Edward is being smart. He is dating her without her realizing that they are dating. She won't get so freaked out by friends with benefits. It is really dating though since it is exclusive.

Just like you, most readers hate Jacob. I know that it's hard to believe, but he really loved Bella, and he's not all bad. He had his reasons for acting the way he did and they made sense to him at the time. Maybe you'll learn a little more about him some time later. But your idea for a punishment is very interesting. Thanks for the review. I'm not sure but I think you mean commitment or relationships instead of comments. If you do, trying not to give too much away, I can say that Edward senses Bella is afraid of opening up to anyone, and he's a patient man who knows what he wants and has an idea of how to get it. For Bella his revelation means that he's not looking for something serious either.
