What a beautifully told story with a beautiful ending!!!  I had a tear in my eye when I read "We do."

I read your personal note at the end.  It reminded me of something my mom and dad always taught we kids to believe and that is "Through tragedy comes triumph."  Regardless of life's ups and downs, it's how we come through them that makes us who we are today.
