I've been Cris at FF.net for over ten years, but that name was already taken here. Sniff!

UPDATE 6/19/12: Summer schedule! People have been asking about my haphazard updates, so here's the schedule:
Mondays: Work, MMA training (no writing)
Tuesdays: Work, writing
Wednesdays: Work, MMA training, roller skating (no writing)
Thursdays: Work, writing
Fridays: Work, MMA training, reading (maybe writing)
Saturdays: Housecleaning, harass the kid, writing
Sundays: Ditto
I try to update at least one thing every week, but no promises on what it is, because I have waaaay too many stories in the air right now. Kindheit Ende is drawing to a close. Dare shouldn't be too much longer, either. Wisp is just getting started. Lullaby is due for some love.

UPDATE 6/17/12: Dear god, I've been dragged into the 21st century. *winces* @judo_lin

About me: I recently completed an MFA in fiction at Portland State University, and I work in editing and research. I have a young son who keeps me very busy and away from my writing a large portion of the time, but I adore him. I'm a bleeding-heart liberal, and I like horses, kids, cats, Converse, and books. I have ten piercings, but only nine of them are anybody's business except my own. I listen to indie girl music that most mainstream people have never heard of, and I'm a feminist, but also kind of a perv, which doesn't always mix. The Twilight movies are one of my shameful obsessions, but I have never read the books and I likely never will. I don't like dogs, chocolate, or religion. And yes, as I've said in ACAP, I did grow up in "the system" and emerged a relatively normal, well adjusted member of society. It can happen! I don't Facebook, so don't ask.
