Regardless of how hurt Bella was she should have given him the chance to speak. She knew Jessica was malicious in her disclosure of the article. She has known Edward for months, yes she has a history of being duped and hurt, but to completely wipe him like that... shows a lack of trust and maturity. Nothing wrong with saying 'I can't talk to you just now I'm too upset. Allow me time to calm...' Also, love is just the feel good emotion in a relationship. Trust, respect, loyalty and friendship create the concrete that holds a relationship together. Understandable reaction from Bella. Disappointing too. However, good chapter. Thanks

The hair in this chapter is based on my wedding day. When I married my hubby 32 years ago, he decided to go out with his friends the night before the wedding. As a joke when he was drunk they dyed his hair blonde, and put a perm solution on it. So instead of brown hair it had gone yellow and his hair looked like the strawman from the wizard of oz.
As I walked down the aisle I couldn't work out what he had on his head until I got next to him. They had to wait 10 minutes for me to stop laughing at him. I wish I could show you a picture.

I really enjoyed this chapter. I like the way you take canon characters and start to make them your own. Edward, in canon, puts up such feeble arguments they are easy to pull apart. For instance, and this is taken from the book or movie as well, where he asks Bella if she is ready for 'never changing, never moving forward'. And then he questions her about changing her mind about children. If she doesn't want them before her change, why would she want them after it? There are so many holes in the original works I want to drive a B Double through them. Loved the touching moment between Edward and his sire. I am really looking forward to your version of how it should have been. Thank you.

I did try to stay true to the orignal characters as much as possible. Glad you like it so far.
We've all turned the pages on the four blank months in New Moon. Edward left Bella in the woods and told her didn't want her anymore; his arrogance expected that she would just move on with her life. What he never expected was that she wouldn't be able to move on any more than he would. An angry Bella is something he couldn't fathom. What he didn't take into account is that Bella believes that true love is worth fighting for, and she's going to fight to keep Edward and her family. The Cullen abandonment hurt her deeply, but she's turned that pain into rage. What will happen when Bella decides to let them know she's not willing to let them walk away and leave her behind? How will they handle one mere human girl that's extremely pissed off, and willing to do whatever takes to bring them back? The saying "hell hath no fury like a woman scorned" has never rang more true. Bella's angry and on the warpath. Not even a clan of vampires will be able to stop her.
"My heart may have fractured when he left me, but I adamantly refuse to let it shatter. I'm stronger than that, and I'm ready to get nasty. Thank you. Yes, Edward is a bit lost and stuck in time. I honestly think he's had the most difficulty assimilating his language and behavior to the time he's in now (like change speech patterns and incorporating slang) compared to the others of his family. However, I also think that it's in part because he's never fallen in love while the rest of his family are all perfectly matched pairs. He'll come around. Bella will see to that. ;)

LOL at Emmett and his antics. Never a quiet moment when the boys are around and ready to play. Felt for Charlie as he contemplated Bella moving on with Edward. It is a relief that he is not pushing Bella to visit Jacob and La Push. I confess to feeling a bit of tension wondering if and when Vicky will show up. I'm staying tuned. ;D

Edward is getting these life lessons when he least expects them. And at a very inconvenient time. Lol. It was thoroughly enjoyable, illuminating and compelling to hear Jasper's version of life in the Cullen Lane. It is good to see, that since the Cullen's return, Bella has not continued to cut herself (tank top). And if Edward hasn't already listened to her messages to Alice during his absence, perhaps that time has passed. All Jasper's good work would be for naught and Edward would again spiral into self loathing. An unexpected chapter that added more layers to your characters backstories. Loved it. Thanks

I appreciate how much you were able to get from this chapter. There are so many layers that we never got to see in the original works that I missed and desperately wanted. Jasper was the perfect person to provide some much needed insight to Edward - and really the only one that could've made Edward really see and understand how what he did effected so many others in a negative way.
