another superb chapter, i mean it's content is sad but as always so very well written, bella was feeling the seperation as much as edward i think her enthuastic greeting shows how much she was missing him, edward might be struggling but his over riding concern and love for her will always battle out his inner demons, bloody hell bella must have looked bad if edward who can only see how beautiful she is thought she looked horiffic, i mean she slept for nearly two days! the cullens were so conscientious with bellas care removing anything that would scare her before she woke, i hate how much she has regressed initally scared of emmett but taking a deep breath and showing her inner courage walks forward to hug him and i love emmett sentiments who ever hurt bells had beter watch out but bells regressed due to the cullens knowing her secrets that she wasn't ready to share but as a guilty verdict is recorded it seems to bring her round, i was on board with jasper doing something your not happy with morally but knowing it's the only way to help someone you love is sometimes the only way you have to do what will help them the most, i know bella story will be horrific but i want to read the story how you planned it, that way the story will all fit together and make sense and i trust you as an author to write a serious, graphic because of its nature but sensitive chapter, that way the story completes itself, any way this is getting long so ill go thanks tracy ps reading your friend story on ff newmoonaholic and it's going great

Oh yeah, Bella was feeling the seperation worse in some ways than Edward. hhmmmm I wonder, if you asked her what she would do when she finally saw Edward throwing herself at him would nto have been the answer, but she couldn't help herself, and aren't we all glad she couldn't!!! I know I am!
Poor Edward, so many struggles. Now he not only has blood but regualr lust, *sigh* what will we do with said vampire?
You're right, she had to look bad if Edward said she looked horrific, and for Carlisle to give her a feeding tube, yeah that isn't normal "I'm run down" that's something way more. But how awesome that it could happen at the Cullen's house and they didn't have to send her to the hospital where I promsie when she woke she would ahve freaked out majorly. But the wounds went deeper than just not eating and sleeping, hence the issue with Emmett whom she had been ok with. Poor Emmett his heart broke to pieces when Bella flinched from him, but he was soooo proud when she sucked it up and hugged him. I swear that was int he top 5 best things of his life! He loves his sister so much.
Bella did zone for a long while there, she was battleing soooo much in her mind. When she woke up a part of her had just been there. She was in the moment of being back with the Cullens whom she had come to love soooooo much and she jsut reveled in it. then the call where everything that had happened made it all rush back and then to learn her secrets weren't as secret as she wanted themt o be. In her head she was working up courage to tell Eddie her story but she needed to get past the trial so when she learned that Riley was found guilty she sucked up her courage again.
aaaahhhh don't say that about it will be good. I'm always worried I'm gonna disappoint, especially this coming chapter that people have been waiting for soooooo long. I'm a bit nervous writing it, seriously. What if Bella's past is too much? Not enough. gggaahhhhh

hey there, i wont say great chapter it's well written and heartbreaking but not great if that makes sense, and i understand bella point of view not to go for revenge she thinks it will bring her and the cullens down to their level and to be anything like those horrendous people would just taint the life they are building, bella would never be able to live with the fact that she had driven her new family to murder she dosent want any part of that time encroaching on her life now she dosent want edward being a murderer for her on her conscience, bellas story, so shocking, as if the stuff at the frat party was not enough of a nightmare (did you make that up or is that been known in some collages) she then has a nutter torturing her and murdering her parents but honestly very, very few ppeople could stay silent through a whipping regardless of what was threatened, it was an impossible ask and the mad man knew that he just wanted an excuse to murder and to lay the blame elsewhere but i understand bellas guilt and i hope in time she will see that reasoning and believe she is not to blame, her parents woulden't blame her, thanks tracy
and yeah i suspose thinking about it i do like this type of story but not for the harsh bits more for getting that feeling of triumph over adversity, the feeling that the human spirit can in the right circumstances can be healed from any trauma. That the soul/mind can be repaired, the feeling that people should never be written off, they might be real difficult to befriend but once you do break down the defences the friendship can be a real good one. I like the idea that we dont let evil things keep us down for ever it might slow us up and pause us for a while but we get back to our lives and live them again.

Shockingly no one has said to me, good chapter loved it. LOL Not expecting warm fuzzies next week either, though I am hopefully for chapter 33 to get them back.
Do rooms like that exist? Yeah they do. They are rare, they are not the norm but they do exist.
You are right on many levels with why Bella doessn't want them dead. It really would be too much for her, she is a gentle soul, always has been, always will be, killing in her name would break her more than she is, and right now she is slowly on the road to healing.

“What do you mean?” I asked. “I was holding her the whole time! Giving her every comfort I could!” I was livid at the accusation that I hadn’t been there for Bella. Of course I had.

I searched through my memory trying to figure out what I’d said that had Rose so mad. As I searched the reason for Rose’s anger became apparent. I hadn’t said anything to Bella the entire time. I was so focused on not blowing up I didn’t speak to her. I wasn’t a total failure, I had given her strength through my touch, but I couldn’t believe I hadn’t spoken one word to her. I cursed myself for the idiot I was.
"I see you got it. Listen it isn’t the end of the world but tomorrow when she wakes up you had better start sucking up! Seriously, she needs to know you don’t hate her, blame her, or think less of her."

jepers, what a harsh chapter, i read it a while ago but really did not know what to write in a review right away, i'm really not sure how bella survived all that no wonder she wanted to die, the list of injuries was horrendous from the rape it self and then all that riley did on top making the first injuries worse as well, nice to know he will never be released but prison is an easy option, so paul's trial is the last one and as for his girlfriend i canno't begin to fathom what the hell she was thinking, no bloke is worth what she did, i'm sure after the night is done edward will have lots of reassuring things to say to bella after rose gave him lots to think about, and after listening to everything his family found out he will find it easier to ignore the lust knowing the horrors bella has faced and give her the space to heal in her time , i'm sure edward can give bella a sense of life and give her things to want and hope for, he'll work tirelessly at this i'm sure, and edwards other job is now to convince bella therapy is a good idea with jasper i hope he suceeds!

I got very few questions for Bella so I didn't do the intervieew, but I will answer your questions for you.
Bella, at this point isn't sure how the dynamic will change. At this specific point she doesnt' know what Edward's thinking or feeling and is scared he'll reject her. Once she learnst hat isnt' the case she will be much closer to him.
Yes, Bella does believe that god has plans for those that wronged her. That's who she is. she has incredible faith and belief in God. She actually hopes that they all become believers that may sound far fetched but it's who she is.
How did it affect Bella when they were apart. Honestly that's difficult for her to answer. The trial for Riley was understanably a VERY difficult one that even without being parted from Edward would have been horrible for her to deal with. So it isn't easy for her to piece together what pain was from being parted from Edward adn what pain was the trial itself. going forward, it will be difficult to be parted, even for a little while.

oh thank you a much lighter chapter, still lots of important discussion going on but the whole atmosphere within the house has lightened considerably and that has to be good for everybody involved, i loved the conversation in the conservatory i thought edward was very eloquent the way he presented the whole we are mated discussion which bella accepted so readily, her already feeling the conection had a lot to do with that i suspose, and then we get declarations of love from both edward and bella which were really sweet andso innocently honest, glad bella is giving therapy a try she deserves to put some demons well all her demons to rest and find some enjoyment in her life, i'm sorry you did noy get many bella questions i thought it would make a great outake in helping to understand some of bellas thought processes and why she does certain things, so i thank you for answering my questions even though you did not write the chapter, it's much appriciated thanks tracy also doing my prayers

LOL everyone was ready and neededa light chapter. Seriously, enough angst already! The coming chapters should be pretty angst free. I mean there is slight tension but really not much. Bella's healing now, well trying to. Glad you liked the convo. Edward didn't pull any punches and got out what he needed to. Hiding or tip toeing won't help Bella, she needs straightforward and open.
Declarations of love. LMAO it only took 33 chapters huh? I said it would come, I just never said when! I could have dragged it out longer if you had wanted.
Bella does need the therapy and it will be good for her. I'm not saying there won't be huge bumps int he road or that it will all be sunshine and smiles, she's repressed and avoided to much for that to happen, but in the end it will be good.!

i liked this chapter, lovely to hear bella laughing and playing about this is one of the best bits, that girl needs some lighthearted fun after all that has happened, her serious conversation with edward about being changed was well thought out and she has some powerful counter arguments to edward ideals and refusal to change her, personally i would like to see her changed as i can't work out how the age gap would work when its like 10 then 20, 50 years etc it just seems the more sensible option and i realise as i say it it sounds odd 'the most sensible' when we are talking about becoming a vampire, look forward to more , thanks tracy and post when you can i think most readers realise you have a life as well as write,

i love bella initial reactions to seeing edward she wants too crawl on his lap hear his voice and thought he could make her life better, than sadly she is struck by the thought that he could be dangerous to her does she mean emotionaly? as in dangerous to do anything other than keep her distance from people, her life is so empty and sad she even believes she is a dissapointment to god, alice is one of a couple of friends bella has she deliberatly not made friends so she can kill herself after she has righted the wrongs at the trial, like i say so shockingly sad bella has no intention of healing and moving past her trauma even though she has people that care for her like seth, and then that disasterous meeting in class with edward which leaves her terrified, she is one brave girl to move past that to make friends with edward and the rest of the family, great stuff thanks

What I love about this out take is that you get to see the shift a lot clearer showing the mating between the two. With Edward he is soooooo consumed with her blood and lack of thoughts you miss the life alterning shift through it all, just like Edward does. Yes you are right, Bella is soooooo committed to being alone and having no one, but she has this inextricable pull to Edward and she fears emotionally what that could mean. She is happy, ok she is content to live in her shell and doesn't want out of it and somehow gets that Edward could be a catalyst for pulling her back to the world she has turned her back on.
Yes she does have people that love her. She knows that. She doesn't feel deserving of it and hates herself to much to truly believe in their love. Bella is entirly consumed with guilt. That is teh prevailing emotion that is with her daily. She truly feels that she should be dead and that her being alive is against what should be, That is why she will be fighting soooooo hard her connection with Edward. Remember that for next chapter and ESPECAILLY chapter 24. lol

Summer Outtakes for the story Femme Docs and Kevlar Knights. It all began the year her parent's died. The boys took her to the beach that first summer trying to cheer her up. hi just read your notes over on ff i was reading the outtakes there b/c there not available on twilighted yet, then read your profile page which let me to your blog (not sure if yours but you know what i mean) lots of info to try and process you really are working hard to solve this current situation on ff but it seems the petition will not work? if i got it right ff cant have a ma/nc17 because the site is directed at teens as well as adults but places like twcsl and twilighted can have those ratings as we sign up first and read warnings about age? and the original published authors dont want their characters associated with adult content on a site advertised for teens? i believe twilighted have opened a teenagers section on their site now they manage to combine the two, i hope ff can consider putting in some kind of registration process just for the higher rating stories or at the very least shut down the lu and their very bad practises, cause the last thing any body want is to see an end to twilight fanfiction that would be disasterous, i think this site is taking off quite quickly so you might get the traffic volume afterall. also b'c i followed you on twilighted i never realised the amount of stories you have written i'll look forward to reading them as i do enjoy your writing sorry after all that on with the review edward seems to be in awe of his wife and the beautiful gift that is his first born(first of many) child the way he sat at their feet watching his daughter feed from his wife that was a beautiful scene, a fab update and i liked their private time down by the lake even though they couldn't go all out they still wanted to connect and pleasure eachother to remind each other they are still wanted and desired, thats how i see those kinds of lemons quite beautiful (and the lu should too and leave us alone) so9rry this is so long and you not fed up reading it thanks tracy

bless emmett and his bikini trials go back 20 yrs and he had the same thing with bella lol and bella is still good at calming emmett down bella spoke a lot of sense when she had that chat with emmett (i love that she still uses his nickname) i try to parent like that teach rightfrom wrong and hope your children make good choices but be available for advice and pick up the pieces when needed, and again we get to see how well all the couples get on after all these years the couples still live closeby and have their annual beach holidays together, bella and edward are still so very much in love and that shows, every body is having a good life and you can never beat a hea, especially for this lot, so thats it no more fdkk i feel a bit sad and all i did was read it you actually wrote it, but on a good note like you say you have some new stories to capture your heart, thanks its been a fantastic read and yes i enjoyed the ride and i hope you enjoy posting on this new site tracy

Thankfully I've gotten enough chapters posted to answer the bulk of your questions :) Thanks so much for the great reviews! It wasn't as hard to take over as I though, but mainly because she hadn't really thought out the plot beyond the beginning concept, so I got to weave it myself from there. I sent her a message when I completed it saying it probably turned out far differently than she had intended, but I hoped she liked it. She said that while yes it was far different than what she had planned, that she liked the end result.
I'm sort of glad we didn't collab. I think that would be really hard for me. I've got my own ideas and my own way I write and it would be hard to reconcile that with someone else! At any rate, thanks again for all the fantastic reviews! I really appreciate them all!

To answer your last review...there will be a couple more bumps along the way, but nothing earth shattering :) I took a break from editing to work on another story I have brewing in my head. I haven't written any new chapters in days and couldnt' resist when the inspiration hit to get some more chapters in. It's 17th centruy Edward and Bella facing an arranged marriage to one another. Hopefully it turns out good. I've had so much going on that I've slowly been saving up chapters so when I post I'll have a bit of an archive built up. I'm up to chapter 5. Anyway, back to writing. Yeah, it totally eats up all my spare time and leads to sleep mornings when I get wrapped up and don't get to bed until far later than I should, but I really do love it. It's actually a condiment much like mayo, except with more of a tangy zip. I'm not sure how to explain it exactly, but we use it instead of mayo on all of our sandwiches in this house. Does that help? :)

the long island house is the house edward lived in with his parents yes? wow bela and edward have had a good life together and their love for each eachother is very much in evidence i will admit to wet eyes when the children snapped bella from her daze after charlies & sues death with baby name ideas that was very special kids have a sixth sence about that stuff, the children went all out for that party with some wonderful ideas the slide show was fab, both edward & bella have had very succesful careers topping that they had three very healthy happy children who have gone on to live well and have happy lives with families of their own, that i think at the end of the day is all we strive for as parents, first and formost we wish our children love and happiness in the big wide world and just hope we have equiped them with the compassion and skills they will need to live happy productive lives, so we come to the end of this most wonderful tale and thankyou for writing it, i have enjoyed it such a lot and happy writing in your future projects best wishes tracy
