Edward Cullen, a lieutenant in the Chicago Fire Department and the head of the rescue squad in Department Eighteen. He risks his life on a daily basis, putting out fires and saving strangers from burning buildings and mangled vehicles.

She was an innocent…someone caught in the cross hairs of their obsession with fire.

He was a hero…a man desperate to save the woman who was in danger from a serial arsonist. 

Little did they know, this monster was going to be the catalyst to start their fire, their fire of passion.
