I think I'd call Tanya's bluff, but I'm not Bella's age.  I'd tell Charlie 1st chance I got. After all Tanya did threaten the life of the Police Chief & his wife.

As for Edward....in this AU, it seems inconceivable that a vampire would be interested in a human in a romantic way.  I'd give him a wide berth but stay friends with Alice:)

I may be repeating myself but since I didn't look at my past review I don't know. I re-read the last chapter & realized in Edward's last letter "Dr. Cullen" was mentioned by name! I've had several people ask why Carlisle hasn't said anything to Edward about his realization. He will, but I wanted Edward to realize Bella is his mate on his own. 

It just occurred to me that with Charlie in the position of being Tanya's mate & pretty much on the Cullen's side, the situation with Jake sniffing after Bella is going to be a lot different than the original. Of course it is - dumb me - if Bella finds out this is her Edward, Jake will be kicked to the curb pronto!

Jake and Co. are in my fic, but to a much lesser extent than canon.  I'm no fan of canon Jacob.  I see him as immature, incredibly selfish and manipulative.  I always say this - any boy who kissed my daughter against her will would be hanging from the attic window by his balls.  It always surprises me that it's Edward's stalker behavior that people criticize.  Jacob kisses Bella against her will; then later, after he finds out she's engaged, he manipulates her into kissing him--knowing her fiance will know and hoping to cause problems--by convincing her he's going to go off and get himself killed if she doesn't kiss him.  But no one ever seems to criticize him, just Edward.  What kind of a best friend does that?  People criticize Edward for being controling for trying to keep Bella from Jacob, but I don't think it counts as controlling when you're (boy or girl) trying to keep someone you love (again, girl or boy) away from someone who genuinly is dangerous, especially when the person you love refuses to acknowledge the other person is dangerous.  Unintentional or not, Emily Young didn't slice up her face herself.  What makes Jacob's behavior even more inexcusable is his first hand knowledge of how badly Leah was hurt when Sam imprinted and left her behind.  Jacob knows how badly off Bella was after Edward left, but he goes after her and tries to make her love him even though he knows he could imprint at any moment and would never give Bella a second thought in that respect again.  He's really just about my least favorite character from any book I've ever read.  Needless to say, I wrote my Jacob very differently.  First off, Edward doesn't leave Bella once they find each other, so Jacob doesn't have the opportunity to move in on Bella that he had in canon, but most importantly, he knows the meaning of the word no.

I'm soooo glad Bella is taking the desk with her:)

I think she'd be safe walking in the woods.  I think the pack's need to protect humans is so genetic, so intrinsic that regardless of how pissed they are at what she said, they'd never deliberately attack her (even if they were, they know the need the Cullens to defeat Victoria, besides that, the Cullens out number them) and they'd be mad enough to keep a wide enough berth around the Swan house that they wouldn't have any opportunity to be close enough to her to hurt her accidentally.
