Just for the record, I thought you were successful with your previous chapter. The reason I felt like I'd taken a punch to the gut was because I could clearly see and feel both sides. If I'd felt like one or the other of them was more in the wrong, I would have been yelling about that instead.

I loved this chapter and how it followed them both from the raw pain through the long road of reconciliation. Anyone else would have just given up, I think. But they're willing to put a lot of effort into making it work because they know they're worth it.

I know they're not through it yet--after all, Bella still has things to say to Edward. We still have unanswered questions about Edward's past. But as sad as it is to see that they've lost that easy comfort with each other, I'm glad to know they're close to getting it back.

No, it's definitely not childish; please don't think that's what I meant.

I've simply noticed the occasional odd turn of phrase, or perhaps the wrong preposition used, like "on" instead of "in," or vice versa--that sort of thing. Not something that would stand out to the average reader as more than just a typo, because that's very easily what it could be. I simply pick up on these things more quickly than some people might because I've had a lot of exposure to non-native English speakers.

Again, I think you write really well, so you should be proud of what you've done here. :)
