Bio:

I'm a housewife who obviously has too much time on her hands. I'd never heard of fan-fiction before, until I was on a website about Twilight and saw it mentioned there. Once I checked it out, however, I was hooked. I loved the concept of Twilight from the moment I picked up the first book, but I have to admit I was disappointed at how lacking in depth some of the characters were, especially Jasper. There was so much that could have been done with them that wasn't, and I was happy to see that many of the authors here didn't seem to have that same problem. In fact, if I'm being completely honest, some of the stories I've read on here are far better than the books were. I know, blasphemy, but it's the truth in my humble opinion.

In the series, I wasn't a big fan of Edward or Jacob, and always thought that Jasper would have been a much better match for Bella. She was so emotional, and as an empath, he would have complemented her very nicely. I was also very disappointed that with the past Jasper had that should have made him such a badass, he was portrayed as anything but. It never made sense to me. Anyway, as you can tell, I'm a big Jasper/Bella fan, and the wonderful stories with that pairing I've read on here have given me many hours of vicarious entertainment. It's because of them that I've worked up the courage to try my hand at a story of my own, though I admit it's rather intimidating to follow behind such authors as IdreamofEddy, JamesRamsey, VampishVixen, givemesomevamp, catonspeed, and heavyinfinity. If you haven't read any of their stories, you're missing out on some seriously good times.

My own story, Forever My Queen, is a Jasper/Bella pairing that started out as a dream followed by a 'What if?' that set my imagination on fire. I'm honored to be able to share my story with the lovely readers on this site in the hope that it affords you the same kind of entertainment that I've found in the stories here. If you do choose to give it a chance, please review and let me know what you like and/or dislike about it so that I can improve as a writer myself and make the story more enjoyable for everyone.

It's always nice to see the bad guy fall, and I enjoyed seeing Riley burn. It was awesome that it was Bella that saved the day. Great chapter.

Author's Response:

Thanks.  Bella had to do something; she owed it to Jazz and the others.  :)

Loved the chapter, glad to see Bella with a backbone.

Author's Response:

Too bad she couldn't have kicked his ass herself.

Ok, I certainly wasn't expecting that, though I had a feeling that Riley wasn't as much of a good guy as he was trying to make himself out to be, and I never liked the way he was around Alice. Poor Alice, she just gets Jasper back and now she's taken from him. I'm looking forward to seeing Riley get what he deserves.

Author's Response:

Thanks, JaspersSweetie.  I hope to update soon!

Great chapter! Certain things make more sense after reading Jasper's explanation, and I always love hearing his POV on things.

Then you'll be happy to know he has about two more in this story.  :)

Thanks so much for reading!

Jasper certainly is a persuasive cuss, isn't he? Not that I can blame Alice. Who could resist him when he's hellbent on seduction?

True!  And if I had sex like that, I'd never leave the room!

I absolutely loved this story from start to finish, and I truly hate to see it end, though I love the way it did.

Author's Response:

Thanks, JS!  I am sad that it's over, but glad to move on to new things.  Hope you stick around for Teardrops on My Guitar.

I'm a little disappointed that Bella is such an extraordinarily controlled vampire, seemingly bypassing the normal 'newborn' stage, but I'm hoping there's a particular reason for it that has to do with the plot. I enjoyed her first reactions to Peter and Garrett, and am looking forward to seeing what you do with her ability.

Great chapter. Loved that Bella is about to be version 2.0, though I'm wondering about these new vamps showing up. I thought at first it might be Jasper, but now I'm not so sure. I hope Bella's change goes as planned, rather than having to be done to save her life after an attack.

Author's Response:

Thank you. Vamped up Bella is coming soon, but I don't want to give anything away just yet. You'll have to read to find out what happens next!

Great chapter. Peter's proposal was perfect for he and Bella, and Garrett's constant interruptions were hilarious. I'm looking forward to Bella kicking his ass (because that will be utterly hilarious) as much as I'm looking forward to the next chapter.

Fantastic first chapter. It moves smoothly, gives a bit of background as to just how crazy Bella's life has been, and grabs the interest of the reader by dropping just enough hints to make you want to read more and find out what the hell is going on. Bella is perfect as the sassy, 'war-weary' bartender.

The second chapter absolutely lives up to the promise held in the first one. Bella's sassiness is fantastic, and I'm enjoying what you're doing with Peter and Garrett. Fantastic way to have a vamp recognize their mate, too.

Peter's inner monologue is always a hoot to read, and I love what you did with him here. Poor Bella must be going nuts wondering what compelled her to invite vampires to her house, and Peter's own struggle against the knowledge she's his mate was hilarious.

Loved it. The venom changes to Bella are interesting, as well as Peter's little slip about when she becomes a vampire rather than if she becomes one. The fact that they both feel the pull is great, and I wonder if she feels it because of the changes from the venom as well.

Lots of action in this chapter. I can't believe she ran from him, but then again, this is Bella, so yes I can. I'm glad she felt the pain of the pull and that Peter went after her. Maybe now she'll take out those balls she has for everything else and put them to good use in facing up to her feelings for Peter.

Summary: Past Featured Story

What if Edward did not take the dramatic route and wait till noon to step into the sun in Volterra?  What if Alice and Bella were incapable of getting to him in time?  What if he was not the only casualty of bad timing and misread visions?

This story takes us down an alternate path than what we followed in New Moon.  The Cullen’s are no longer whole and Bella is so badly damaged that she may be unreachable as she closes herself off to the pain of the outside world.

Can a new love save her?  Can his voice pull her from the darkness?

This story is rated NC-17 for major angst, suicide and the possibility of far off lemons (who am I kidding?  If you have read any of my stories, you know there will be lemons…but not for a while).

I loved the game, and how they try to include Bella in things. I also loved Carlisle's reaction to what Tanya and Irina did to her, him standing for her spoke of his feelings more loudly than words could have. I hope Bella will realize their stupidity, rather than get lost once more in self-blame and loathing.

Well you know Bella, self-doubt is her bread and butter.

Lovely chapter. The family's determination to see the two of them end up happy and together is heartwarming. I hope that Bella can stay away from her habitual self-doubt and at least attempt to open herself to Carlisle instead of running away from the problem.

Author's Response:

Very nicely done first chapter. Poor Jasper and his guilt - I truly hope he gets over that. I'm glad to see that Rosalie isn't quite the bitch that she's normally portrayed to be, trying to be helpful rather than cold when she's needed now.

Author's Response:

I have always had a soft spot for Rosalie.  Yeah, she is kind of a bitch to Bella, but deep down she puts her family first.  I really wanted to focus on the fact that she was not out to get anyone when she called Edward.

Excellent chapter. Everyone's pain is written so well, so fully, that it's easy to feel exactly what they're going through, bringing the reader into their hearts in a way that's almost too intense.

Great chapter. I'm wondering if either Bella's shield has activated and is blocking the others from feeling/seeing her, or if perhaps she's given up and thrown herself into darkness. Either way, I'm looking forward to seeing where you go with this.

A Crimson Change is, indeed, a fantastic story.

Author's Response:

Bella blocking Jasper and Alice's gifts is not a conscious thing.  So whether it be her shield kicking in to protect her or her mind going dark, it makes sense either way you look at it.

I'm starting to lean more toward my second guess, that Bella's thrown herself into a place of her own creation - the meadow with Edward. It makes sense that she's so overwhelmed right now, her mind isn't capable of coping with reality and so it's gone someplace it feels safe and content. I am loving this story.

Author's Response:

I am so glad you are loving it!  Bella really is exactly where she wants and needs to be right now.  Everything on the outside is too real and too raw for her to cope with, so she has gone to a safe place to heal.

Thanks for continuing to read and review each chapter.  It means so much to me. :)

I loved seeing the softer side of Rosalie - she so often tends to get a bad rap in stories. Her and Emmett's parting words to Bella were so touching.

Another heart-wrenching chapter. Carlisle's hope is almost tangible, and it's easy to see him giving up everything to help Bella. I can't see him ever agreeing to kill her, though changing her might be acceptable to him if this continues for too much longer.

Author's Response:

I love writing Carlisle.  He is one of my most favorite Cullen men.  He is so gentle and so complex and we don't see enough of him in SM's books (in my opinion).

Thanks for the review.

This chapter required tissues, but for a much happier reason. Carlisle's singing to Bella was so sweet, as is everyone's excitement and hope that this is a turning point for her. Poor Edward - I've never been a huge fan of his, but how hard it must be to be dead for all intents and purposes, having committed suicide over the thought that his love was dead, only to have to suffer the bittersweet reality of trying to help her through the pain of losing him because she wasn't dead after all. This whole scenario actually makes me like the guy, despite his inherent stupidity.

Author's Response:

{Doing a little happy dance} I have swayed the opinion of an Edward hater...my life is complete.  LOL.  I will admit that I am an avid Edward lover, but he needed to go for this story to work.

Carlisle singing to Bella was one of the first scenes that crossed my mind when this story first grabbed hold in my head.  It was hard to find just the right songs to have him sing, but I think I did pretty good with my choices.

Wonderful family reunion. I love the ease with which Bella and Carlisle interact, and how the whole family seems to realize it's happening and is supportive of, rather than against, it.

Author's Response:

I think that the family is very grateful for all that Carlisle has done for each of them over the years.  I think they would feel it would be disrespectful to question his feelings towards Bella.  As much as they loved Esme and Edward, they understand that neither Carlisle or Bella should live life alone.

Thank you for reading and reviewing all of the chapters.  Because of you, I have hit over 100 reviews, so I say an extra special thank you!!!
